The nerve in my back is pinched by baby. Syatic (sp) nerve is there any relief available that i can do at home? Sometimes i can't even get outta bed...

You are have the signs of a nerve being pinched. You need a mri or ct scan to see what exactly is wrong. Leaving the unchecked can result in permanent damage to the nerves and spine. Feeling of a pinched nerve in the neck could actually be a pinched nerve or could be related to muscular issues. I would suggest consulting an orthopedician for an evaluation. After a cause is diagnosed, it can be managed accordingly. Hope this helps. Take care!

for the past month from my knee down to my toes have been going numb, at first it just feels like my feet are falling asleep then it turns into a cramp, and its alot of pain for a few minutes. For the past week, I have had excruciating pain in the center of my knee that radiates to the outside of my thigh. This pain is on the left side of my body. Had my left knee replaced and severe pain from day one. When I lay on my right side , bend my knee 45% and try to lift it straight up , severe pain on the outside of the knee. Absolutely can not lift it. I told the doctor this after one month, he just said it ould get better with time. 13 months later no difference same intense pain. Knee bends 90% and works fine except when I try tp privot inward to the right.

Does anyone know of something natural that helps relieve nerve pain? I have nerve damage from previous back injuries and cannot take the lyrica I was taking to control the pain. I've been managing as best as I can up until recently. My baby is sitting comfortable on a nerve which is not so comfortable for me and I can hardly move.

I would recommend evaluation of your lower back. I think you might be correct when you indicate that the pain feels like "a pinched nerve". An MRI of your lumbar spine and an EMG may be quite helpful.

m starting to get these sensations of like a pinched nerve that shoots from the frontal groin area all the way down my inside thigh to my knee. Some of them are rather painful to where I have to stop for about 20-30 seconds or so until I'm able to move without that feeling again. (Or at least where it's at a tolerable level again.) I've went to the ER about 2weeks for bleeding alittle but turned out to be a uti. I'm taking my meds but I'm having sharp pain in my lower right side of my back and it goes to my knee which it gives out. I have no abdomen pain the baby is growing. Could I have kindney stones?

It seems from the EMG that I have pinched nerves in both neck and lower back. So I wonder whats the relation here. Do I have neuropathy because I have radiculopathy? I have a very long list of symptoms, some of them more annoying than others. I have numbness mostly on my right hand, tingling, tenderness in buttocks (sometimes on the right sometimes on the left side) pain than run from my back to my hamstrings and ankles.

Thank you for your question. First, I would like to let you know that knee is quite sensitive structure and more prone for re-injury. Frequency of re-injury increases if already was being damaged severely. Therefore, before resuming to strenuous activity, it is required to consult a physiotherapist for strengthening exercises. Additionally, your symptoms could be due to pinched nerve due to scar formation and neurologist's consultation is advisable to avoid worsening. Hope this helps.

Hi all im 19+4 weeks and from past few days experncing pain in my butt it goes all d way to my leg n knee amd its just on d left side its very painfull ..

Wow...there is someone like me. My throat pain has been with me for almost 1 year now. Mine is on the left side. I've been told I have a rare case of Laryngeal Neuralgia but all the medicines they have given me have been unimpressive. I'm taking meds that help with nerve pain. I even had a nerve block that did nothing. I'm going to try another in a few weeks and hoping for relief. Lifting, movement, etc.
