Avatar f tn ve noticed I get excruciating pain in my feet legs and hip if I got more then 3 days out of heels. Is this normal!? Is by bodies norm now the tip toe heel position!! How wi this effect me as I get older!?
Avatar f tn I am concerned because it seems that not only does my knee kind of hurt but it feels like the pain is working its way up my thigh. It feels like my thigh area kind of tingles a bit. When I straighten my leg it also pops once in a while but not every time. When I walk up and down the stairs I don't feel any pain. It seems the pain gets worse in my leg around night time. During the day my knee does not really bother me at all.
Avatar n tn I have done this before with no problems when I was in High school but after standing for roughly 30 minutes I was in a lot of pain at my knee and radiating down my lower leg. I recently suffered a nasty fall of a horse and landed almost totally on my right knee. I have also been fallen on (by the horse) four times over the last 10 or so years the mpst recent one coming a week after the nasty fall.
Avatar f tn i have intermittment pain in my left leg, from the heel up to the thigh, not terribly painful, tho when i am standing ifor longer periods it tends to be more painful. had a ultrasound done a couple months ago, which was normal. i am 35, on nexium 40 mg as well as calcium, vitamin b complex (two a day), vitamin c, vitamin e as well as fish oil. it does affect my knee as well. i wear heels (2") during the workday..........my hands and feet also tingle at times...........
Avatar f tn ) It has since progressed to mid-quad, and over the past year, I pain has worsened, especially when there is even the slightest pressure applied to my ankle, calf, or knee area (soft parts of those areas-not the bone). I do not feel the pain when I am active, standing, or sitting- ONLY when pressure (light or firm) is applied- like during a massage or when my dog rubs pass my leg. I want to mention, I do not have tenderness in my feet or anywhere else like I am experiencing in my lower legs.
Avatar n tn Stick your hips out behind you and shift your weight onto your heels. Lower your hips toward the floor, stopping when your heels are about to lift off the floor. Straighten your arms and reach them behind you. Push through your heels and jump up while simultaneously swinging your arms overhead. Your body forms a straight line as you jump. Land softly on the middle of your feet and lower gently onto your heels. Make sure your knees are bent as you lower -- locking them may cause knee injury.
Avatar m tn For the past couple of weeks, I have had moderate sharp pain in my right buttocks, radiating, laterally, down my right leg, sometimes going past the knee into the lower leg. The pain begins right above my hip joint. There is much tightness in what I can best describe as my "hamstring". Iceing and heat help, NSAIDS do not. Any thoughts as to what this may be? Thank You!
Avatar n tn Plantar Fascitis is always a possiblity. It causes pain in the heels in particular with it being worse when you get up after sitting and yes in the morning it is terrible. The pain can also run across the bottom of your foot as the fascia that runs across there is inflammed and irritated. I had this and I was miserable. I saw an orthopedic specialist and had some physical therapy and achilles tendon stretches.
Avatar m tn I get a sharp pain in my left knee when jumping hard. I can run and sprint without pain. I can even jump 10 to 12 inches without noticing any pain. But when I do a two legged jump to go up for a dunk, I immediately get pain around the middle of my left knee. It then hurts to jump and there is pain when doing even a minor squat. Eventually within about an hour.
Avatar f tn Currently I am suffering from pain my thorasis spine and chest(Rt), Knee(Rt), Area near thorasis spine(Lt), sometimes red eye, Ankle and heels pain, shoulder pain(Lt), neck pain and pain in left region of hip. During night I am unable to sleep straight due to thorasis stiffness, even can’t sleep upside down because of chest pain. At times I fell down while walking because of sudden heel pain.
Avatar f tn I have arthritis in my knee and in my left foot - but think it is also now in my hip. I was taking percocet for pain but have tried to get off them as I feel I was getting addicted. Right now I am looking for advice - the bottom of my left foot hurts and aches... is there anything you can put in your shoes or on your foot to lessen the pain? It's not swollen, and I don't really want a store bought insert because then it makes it too high for my foot.
Avatar m tn I wanted to add that the back pain comes in two parts. The dull pain is all the time and the sharper pain is when I'm bent forward and take a really deep breath. Regular breathing does not hurt at all.
1415174 tn?1453243103 t tried them as a drink only in foods. I feel very tired and sore from having atrophy from when I had high pain and had to sit a lot. Now I am walking about an hour a day plus doing one hill. I get very tired and muscles get sore after to the point of almost pulling a muscle in my calves every day. I am slowly trying to get back to normal and can use this information.
Avatar m tn If you are in the construction industry, it is more likely that you have this condition. The knee pain and sole pain may be due to statin, check with your doctor, and he may reduce the dosage. Regarding COPD, have a look at the following site: http://www.uptodate.com/patients/content/topic.do?topicKey=~mD..
Avatar f tn IN june i took part in a 100 mile cycle race, the 90th mile i had the most horrendous pain running down the side of my calf from my knee, at the end of the race i couldnt walk. i iced/ heated etc.. by the 2nd day of resting i could walk again.
Avatar f tn I've got a the same problem sorta with pain from the back of my knee to my heels. In the mornings when I wake in bed my legs ache, cramp and my heels feel like pins and needles in them. Walking to the bathroom feels like my heels are gonna snap like a rubber band and my calfs ache like a tooth ache. I think this is nerve re-lated because after walking downstairs which is a chore and making myself walk it lets up until evening and starts all over again...
3205586 tn?1362842985 To heels or not to heels that is the question! lol I really dont need to wear heels to fall over, no shoes will do it just as easily, i'm a human string puppet lol string puppetry is an art form that i am still trying to master, i'm only in my third year of study :o) I have a theory to wearing heels, at least i can blame my shoes if i go down and i'll still look bl@@dy good whilst i'm checking out the cracks in the floor lol Cheers........
268698 tn?1222553884 t even know where to start, since the end of Aug 07 I have been experiencing constant aches and mild pain in my legs, mostly from the knee down. I have been in and out of my doctors office for months now and my doctor doesn't seem to think its anything to worry about. I have days I don't feel a thing and days where my legs ache, never know when its going to happen.
314554 tn?1337454119 (Female 46 yr) My podiatrist examined the Morton's Neuromas on both of my feet about year ago. He made my orthotics and I wear ShockDoctor orthotics in some of my other shoes. At one time, I had several knee and tibia "injuries" that were biomechanical in nature from overtraining on the stairmaster and the occasional use/misuse of sports performance & pain meds (no longer use).
Avatar f tn I had bilateral PF Makoplasty six months ago on December 9, 2014, at age 57. Recovery in the first few weeks was exceptionally fast, and I am mostly thrilled with the results -- I have great flexion, can sit back on my heels, and can descend stairs, jump up and down, and do lunges and squats to 90 degrees without sharp pain, though I generally have an 'awareness' and some soreness in my knees with these movements.
1294547 tn?1275655777 I am in limbo as far as a diagnosis and i was wondering if what I am feeling sounds like foot drop or a stage of foot drop? Sometimes it effects the way I walk but the pain and stiffness subside eventually if i walk around long enough. The pain is worse in the evening and last for longer periods of time. I have read posts by others about foot pain but i have not come across the same "swollen' feeling being posted by anyone else.
Avatar n tn what about the 5 - 10 percent that this surgery doesn't help This discussion is related to <a href='http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/296095'>Leg Pain after Lumbar Microdiscectomy</a>.
