I'm 19 years old. 3 months ago I went in for knee surgery. While I was in recovery they found me in 3rd degree heart block. I was sent home with a heart rate of 40 they thought it was just the pain meds. With in four hours I was unconscious on the bathroom floor with a heart rate of 15 quickly fading. I was rushed to the er and put in cardiac short stay for the night. They ran test after test to make sure anistisa had nothing to do with it.
My husband, 52 yrs old, no back issues at all, he does have a severe neck problems, he has no symptoms from disc disease He was standing in line at a coffee shop bought the coffee turned to walk and fell on his face, no feeling in his leg at all, no numbness, no pain, he describes it like it wasn't there, when he went to try and get up it took a min to get a feeling back in his leg for him to stand...
I can bear weight, but any twists of the knee is an absolute no no. And getting in and out of a car in a nightmare. The pain is on the lower inside of the knee and sort of down to my shin. Also bruising just under and to the side of my knee. The swelling is pretty much the entire knee and then some. Ice, ibuprofen, and elevation have helped but not cured it.
Do you think I tore something? Should I go to the doctor? Probably a dumb question, but unfortunately I don’t have health insurance.
I am 40 years old and moderate activity , The pain in the left knee is not severe but the pain in the right knee is . Actully pain in the left knee is almost gone .I can take 40 mg of indocin and the pain subsides but when it comes back its just as bad , I am trying to get into a orto again but its a waiting list over 2 months and this is really starting to affect me , Is it ok to keep taking the indocin like this till I can get someone to look at this ?
I had a reaction, got sick for one day, but the pain was gone for a week after that (not taking the Bactrim). After the pain came back, I was instructed to try the Bactrim again; got sick almost immediately, and again the pain was gone for a week. I have not taken the Bactrim since that one.
Well, I finally got an ultrasound. I was informed that I had "a bit" of gynecomastia in the right nipple.
I am a 20 year old female college student who is fairly healthy and exercises regularly (3-4 times per week). For 1 month I have been experiencing pain in my left knee. The pain occurs mostly above the knee cap and slightly along both sides. I have never had any knee injuries nor do I remember injuring it prior to when the pain began. I made a doctor's appt for February 22nd but it seems to be getting worse and i'm not sure if I will be able to handle the pain.
I have been dealing with chronic pain since a car accident in 2000 and unexplained sickness as long as I can remember, which caused me to miss alot of school. Until this year there has been no physical reason for the pain in my neck and numbness in my right arm. I only have a bulge between c5 and c6 and have been told by some that this does not cause pain. I also have been dealing with depression for along time. recently I found a psyciatrist and am also seeing a cousler there.
I started having unexplainable severe knee pain. No idea how or why. No injury, no swelling, no bruising. I had my knee examined, Xrays done, and everything looked great. I decided to change the sneakers I was using to exercise and actually use sneakers when using the eliptical at home and as God is my witness - problem solved!!!!!!!! No more knee pain.

I have knee pain in my right knee when I kneel down on it.About a year ago the same knee for some reason unknown to me got very swollen & had to use crutches for about a week. Anyway when I kneel down it is like kneeling on a tack. Then it has a sensation of a rug burn to the touch. After about five times of this happening I looked more closely. On the right lower outer edge of knee cap it gets a swell pocket. It does not swell up the entire knee just this oval like shaped pocket.

If it is just occasionally popping with no pain, it could be nothing and some exercise like knee bends could strengthen your knee. On the other hand, it is painful too especially with swelling you may want to see a doc. If your knee is making a grinding noise for example it could mean that the cartilage is wearing down.
Especially if this continues to bother you check with your pcp or an orthopedic specialist before exercising or anything!
There's a big difference in being dependent vs. addicted. Anyone taking any narcotic for a length of time will become dependent. I can't understand why your doctor took you off your meds. Did you have a pain contract and somehow violated it?

I am feeling pain in my right knee for 7 years now and all the doctors say they don't know the reason. One of my doctors did say I have bruising on the inside of my knee and gave me medication. After a few days, it wasn't working and the pain kept coming. I have a pain on the inside of my knee. It's constant unbearable pain. It hurts to where my whole leg gets numb and my feet gets cold. My knee also has this stingy feeling and they give out on itself.
