knee pain diagnosis night

The surgeon warned my husband and I that in 15% of patients with severe arthritis, going in with a scope and messing around in the knee will result in an exacerbation of the arthritis and accompanying pain. Well, I fell into the 15% .....naturally! I also have the disease to a severe extent in my spine and in my hands. I see my rheumy again on 11/30, and am going to ask for x-rays of my hips because I believe that the arthritis has settled there as well.

my 6 yr old cries every night with knee pain but the knee dr and regular dr says she is ok she has been hurting since she was able to walk about 10 months old i dont know wat to do can you help me please

wondering what causes pain in my right leg during the night? It doesn't hurt at all during the day.It's not a cramp, it just hurts. Thanks!!

She suffers pain flares in both ankles, right knee (this knee has been weak since she was 9), both hands and wrists, upper and lower arms, shoulders, across the collarbone and the shoulder blades. The intensity of the pain varies from mildly annoying to extreme (extreme being unable to stand even the lightest touch).

The only time I get any really bad pain is when I first get up after sitting or laying down for any length of time. I can also put full weight on the knee with out much pain though I am walking with a pronounced limp and very slowly.

On Monday my knee was feeling fine, on Tuesday there was a mild/medium pain, but later when I got home that day it flared up and I was in a lot of pain. Throughout the night from Tues night to Wed morning it hurt to extend it and it hurt to bend my leg. I took 800mg of ibuprofen to at least keep the swelling and pain down. I can walk on it, and keep it in a certain postition and i'll be okay, but full range of movement is not an option for me.

My lateral movement is almost completely gone and then i can barely walk. Afterwards that whole night im in severe pain, worse after sitting for a bit and trying to stand up. Up until today everytime that would happen the next day my knee would be perfectly fine, this time it stayed sore for longer than ususal. But normal it clears in a day and im good to go the next week with the same thing happening, being everything is fine the first hour or so.

Pain, swelling, popping sound in the knee could be due to arthritis, as it is the most common cause of pain in the knee after recurrent injuries to the knee. Burning, tingling and radiation of the pain to the hip and ankle relates to compression of nerve. I would suggest that you visit a orthopedician and get x-ray and MRI of the knee to confirm with the diagnosis. All the best.

i'm a dancer and I can't extend my knee anymore. I don't know what I did to mess it up. but even laying down i have to force myself to extend it. every time i get it extended it sends sharp pain from the lower part of my knee up to my hip bone. I'm only 20 so the thought of knee replacement scares me half to death. I can't start my career in dance until my knee is back to normal.. i've tried icing it, stretching it, biofreeze you name it i've probably tried it.

Her right calf got bent to the left too far and her knee popped. She cried out in pain for a few minutes as soon as it popped. She can move her leg around and walk with a limp. There's no swelling that I can see so far either. We are going to the hospital.

It seems the pain gets worse in my leg around night time. During the day my knee does not really bother me at all. t smoke, rarely drink. During the night and when I first wake up, I am experiencing excruciating bilateral knee pain. I noticed the pain about 4 months ago and it is worsening. I know it sounds crazy but I have to pull myself up, using the wall and toilet with my arms, to get up from the toilet when I get up to urinate in the night. Over the past 4 days I have been experiencing pain/Throbbing in my right knee. I do not recall doing any activities which may have damaged it in anyway. I have had depression and sleep apnea for many years now and the past two years I require ambien to go to sleep every night or I will not sleep. The pain I am having now is waking me up at night several times a week. My knee doctor prescribed Lyrica for me about 3 months ago and I tried it and could not take it because it made my head feel disoriented and headaches.

I normally sleep fetus style towards my right then during the night I changed to my left. When I tried to move the knee locked and is a pain that I just cried at loud. I normally flex it and then turned. It doesn't hurt anymore. The pain only last 1 min. I later on can turn myself right and left without a problem, taking care I turn my knee carefully. I had knee pain in outer side of knee while playing soccer. I took serratiopeptidase + diclofenac potassium capsule by doctors advice. I took rest for 2 weeks but when I started playing it started again. Please advice.
