Hello, I posted a question earlier but am not sure if it is here, so forgive me if there are two posts. I am having pain in my left foot, calf, knee and thigh. I have some discomfort when walking around, but the pain becomes worse when I lie down to go to sleep. I do not notice any discoloration or excessive warmth in these areas. I have had sciatica in the past on my right side. Any ideas what this could be?
SO I AM HAVING PRETTY EXTREME PAIN ONLY WHEN KNEEING ON LEFT KNEE--USUALLY DOMINATE KNEE THAT I ALWAYS KNEE ON WITH ALL MY WIEGHT ON FIRST. DOESNT HURT TO WALK ON OR BEND OR ANY OTHER MOTION. RECENTLY I CAN FEEL SENSATIONS FROM A LITTLE BELOW MY KNEE LIKE "PINS AND NEEDLES" BUT VERY SLIGHT. I CAN LIGHTLY TOUCH BELOW CENTER OF KNEE AND FEEL SAME PAIN WITH VERY LITTLE PRESSURE LIKE A SLIGHT RUB.
Ok, so the end of last academic year, i had this bad pain that was right above the knee, not in the joint, but above it, but after a while it went away, and i was happy. A few weeks ago it came back, i went to the doctor, and he diagnosed it as a chronic muscle strain. They took x rays and stuff, and it all showed up perfect.They just today took x rays of my hips. The pain has not gone away, btw i was put on crutches and this leg brace thing that only lets me bend 90 degrees.
I’m 52, have had left leg pain (hip area down to ankle) left hip is painful to touch, aching in left leg, pain in knee and stiffness in left knee ( low mobility in knee ). Doctor said my reflexes are overactive. I’ve had MRI cervical, MRI lumbar ( nothing conclusive ). Also having bladder issues. Recurring UTIs or what feels like UTI, bladder control issues and urinary frequency.
ve started getting a slight aching pain in my right knee. My doctor said to get better shoes with strong support and cushioning and lose weight it will get better, the shoes has helped but the pain its still there when l walk and put weight on my foot and knee. l am OK walking short disatances , but it gets painful if l walk longer then 15 minutes . l know losing weight is the solution but its difficult as l cant do much walking but l am on a diet and slowly losing weight but it takes time.
Ok, I just recently started track for my first year and it started out as a small pain. So over spring break I decided I wouldn't run on it. But after school came around again, it was back. But this time it is really bad, like there is this pounding feeling now and it's just awful. Any tips to STOP it. and ways to reduce it for good?
i am 37 years old and have had plantar fasciitis for almost 3 years. i have had many treatments for plantar fasciitis including inserts for my shoes, many pairs of new shoes, physical therapy for both my feet and my knee, injections and have been on all types of NSAIDS since this started. i have had 3 MRI's of my neck, low back and my knee to rule out other causes.
I had only started jogging for about 100metres when I felt this sharp pain in front of my knee around my knee cap area on both sides. I thought nothing of it and continued another hundred or two meters but the pain didn't go away. It is not very severe (about 4~5 on 1-10scale) but I'm worried because I have never had such pain before.
I'm worried it might be something serious and it would prevent me from doing sports in the future.
I had my knee partiallly replaced on the inside of knee. Was in a lot of pain in bursa sac area and along incision. My ortho tried 3 injections and the nerve continued to intensely burn, twirl and I felt like something cold was running down the inside of my calf. I felt this 24-7. 1 month ago the Dr. reopened the incision and clipped the nerve. I am now experiencing not as intense burning but like their are more nerves being hot. Will this go away.?

It was a busy day and night and into the evening during an awards ceremony, the back of my left knee was very tender to the touch, and I was wearing jeans. Just sitting there, the pain got worse! I couldn't even touch it or bend my knee it felt as if it were on fire, NO pins and needles here, like it was burning for real!
I finally got home and took my boots off and socks and jeans, and there was NOTHING there!!!!!!
old and since last summer I have been waking up in the morning with joint pain. My elbow joints, hip, and knee joints are all painful. And I have this tired weak feeling so it takes me awhile to get out of bed. The meds I am taking are : Nexium 40mg. twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day.
Plantar Fascitis is always a possiblity. It causes pain in the heels in particular with it being worse when you get up after sitting and yes in the morning it is terrible. The pain can also run across the bottom of your foot as the fascia that runs across there is inflammed and irritated. I had this and I was miserable. I saw an orthopedic specialist and had some physical therapy and achilles tendon stretches.
