I had to have total knee replacement on my knee in 2003 now after 3 operations I am left with a partial bent knee and missing out on life. Is there any hope for me?

I had an accident where I fractured a part of the tibial plateau. In one knee. It's a simple fracture from what I gather, 4-5 ? inches long, but the x-ray wasn't precise enough for the Ortho. who requested an MRI with a 3-D reconstucted image. She said that if there's too much distance between the bones, too much loss of alignment, surgery will be necessary.
Haven't sought a second opinion yet, but I'm wondering if there aren't alternatives to surgery?
sounds so to me my aunt keep getting operations on her knees one after the other as soon as they replce her knee thngs were alot better she said she ws in less pain an was wlking pretty much the next day

As I am sure you know fraying of the knee cartilage can and does cause pain. Indeed it can be severe pain depending on the amount of fraying.
Have you seen a D.O. (osteopathic physician) also called Doctor of Osteopathy. I searched for years for the answer to my severe debilitating hip and leg pain.

Orthopaedic surgeon did McMurray test - was not sure at first whether he heard the clicking sound in my right knee. He did this again and said "yes, i can hear the clicking sound" I did not hear the sound.

im 44 6 ft 5 325, Ive had 7 operations on my left knee. ACL repaired and both cartlidges removed. I cannot stand more than a couple of hours because of the pain. I cannot straighten it nor bend it more than 45 degrees. Would a knee replacement be my best alternative to getting my lie back?
Almost a year and a half ago my boyfriend started to experience chronic knee pain. In February of last year he had a knee surgery to remove a hematoma and clotted blood and dead tissue. Since that surgery his knee has only gotten worse. He has been to every specialist you can think of and has been on extremely high amounts of pain medication with no relief.
My 78 yr old mother has been experiencing continous painful sores/blisters in her mouth with pain in jaw up to temple area. She has been to two dentists, two primary care physicians, alerists, ENT, urgent care & emergency room twice, no one has been able to diagnose the problem & have put her on anitibiotics approx. 10 times now. The antibiotics do begin to help but within in 2-3 days after stopping the antibiotics the problem is back.
I had the Nissen Fundoplication surgery about eighteen months ago, with great results. From the studying I did prior to the surgery, it sounds like the wrap and stitching procedure was too tightly done, and this might result in expulsion of food in the esophagus. I'd strongly suggest you do as much as possible to make sure the repeat surgery is performed by someone with a lot of experience.
The other leg is perfectly fine in those positions, suffering from neither the stiffness nor the pain in those positions. There is never any swelling in the problem knee. I have some crepitis in both knees but have had this for 10 years with no pain (basically some crackling noise when going up stairs).
I movies into a house with stairs and when I walk or run up the i feel a ripping sensation in my knee. That’s the only way I can describe it. It doesn’t hurt on impact it hurt when I take off so to speak. Also when I have my knee bent for a long time it’s very hard to straighten it. Sometimes when I walk the wrong way I drop to the ground suddenly because the pain is so bad. The only thing is is that it is not persistent. It’s not a constant pain.
However prior to the operation I used to have blood in my sperm for a number of years and the first two times I ejaculated after the operations it was bloody as before Then I noticed there was no blood in my sperm and this continued for about 9 months Wonderful I thought and what a great success.However after a short lapse of any sexual activity I have now noticed that the blood has appeared again.
About ten years ago I developed this morning anxiety, and for the exception of a few months here and there because of knee replacements and other operations (I guess the pain took the place of anxiety) I have had it EVERY morning. Needless to say it gets me down horribly.

Due to his arthritis and overwhelming pain he finds it very hard to stand up and walk and the more he gains weight the worse it becomes for his knee -however he literally can't walk for long periods yet a lone exercise.
In the UK, do they check for dilation? Only really heard it done in USA, and I'm 37 haven't been checked so far!
So, in October - November 2021 I've had bursitis on my right knee for several weeks from prolonged kneeling possibly due to my old job which then turned into an abscess and was in hospital for a week on antibiotics with septic bursitis. The doctors were never sure how I developed it. If I remember correctly my doctor said it was gram positive cocci.
When I walk I get pain in the shin (tibia), calf, and Achilles tendon, and when I squat I get pain in my knee and sometimes tibia. I can also feel the top of my tibia moving when I walk sometimes. Please let me know what is the treatment for a dislocated tibia? Is there anything that can be done to get the bone back into its proper place? Thank you.
The pain is primarily on the inner side of the knee. I have had several kneesurgeries, one in the last 6months that was supposed to fix all these issues. I have been told its just arthritis, however after surgery i was told no signs of arhritis. a physical therapist told me i have a loose mcl. what to do?
