knee operation keyhole surgery

i am going to have a cyst and ovarys remvoed by keyhole surgery so what will happen at my op

It was a bucket handle tear on the meniscus in my left knee and I have had keyhole surgery. Is there anything I can do to help my knee back to the way it was before my injury?

All i know is that they will try to remove cyst without the ovary through keyhole surgery but they wont know for sure until the operation has started so i wont know anything until i come out of surgery, i just find this a bit worrying. has anyone else had this problem?

Had surgery yesterday. All went well, but I am in so much pain, no pain killers are working. Going home today though. Scars look and feel more bad then expected. Eating and drinking normal.

i have recently had a knee operation to fix the cartilage. on investigating they found that my femor and knee cap was in a bad way and worn and in time i will need a knee cap replacement, however thankfully not at the present time. Iam a fit person who teaches amrtial arts. My problem is that it has been weeks since my operation but the knee is still badly swollen and sore and i am still struggling to straighten it and bend it behonf 40 degrees..

Iv been Looking on here and I see lots of people have key hole surgery to remove dermoids and other cysts so why does my gym insist I have open surgery is it because I'm over weight does anyone no thanks

but when i woke up the morning after my was just one big bruise n now thats gone docs think i have split my cartelidge.but i dnt gott keyhole surgery in 2weeks time for it but my other knee n hand are starting to give me the same sort of pain.

With restrictive movements and also by using a brace at your knee joint you can have an elective surgery after 4 months. It is not an emergency and you can explain your surgeon about this and take a suitable date and take the necessary tips from your orthopedician so that you do not damage it any further. Take care!

I take one ten ml in the morning and 1 to a half before bed to help me sleep. Well i have knee surgery monday and i am very afraid to tell my doctor. He is a knee doctor and never has prescribed me pain meds. I thought of telling just the anesthesiologist but am afraid of not having a prescription in my name. Hello, I have had 3 arthroscopies on my left knee to repair my lateral horn meniscus in September 2009, January 2014 and March 2015. Each time after the operation and recovery my knee begins to feel good and strong again. After 1 and a half year since my last operation my knee has felt great, however 5 days ago I squatted down (asian squat toilet), and instantly knew I had torn the cartilage again. Since this moment my left knee has a constant ache/throb.

After a MRI they have found that I have only MCL in my left knee in tact and need to have a operation to fix this. I have found many people with ACL tears on you tube but can't find info on the problems I have in my knee. Where could I see an operation to fix all ligaments if it can be done as will see my Doc soon to discuss the options and would like to know what they are before we do speak?

Hi I was told I had PCOS 12 yrs ago and since then hav had approx 2 periods and lots of aches and pains, last week I had a clear discharge with blood streaks in so was a little alarmed and went to see my doctor, she examined me and said my womb was enlarged and referred me for an ultra sound scan, I had that done today and the sonographer told me that I have a 20 cm cyst on my right ovary, she didn't tell me what kind of cyst she just said that I need to go back to my doctor to get referred

We moved from South Africa to Australia (3 months ago) and it is just all new to me... don't know how the Medical Insurances works here??? and the closest City to us is Adelaide and that is about 600km from here. I just had surgery less than a week ago for both lateral and medial meniscus tears on my right knee. It was really no big deal at all. surgery was on a friday and I was back to work monday. not much pain involved and I am aleready walking w/out crutches after 3 days.
