He has also got parathyroid Harmone PTH done which is normal. Even sonography of the parathyroid shows nomal. He has also got 24 hours urine test done which is normal. He has also done a blood test for S.calcium, Phosphorous, Phosphates, Alkaline , albumin and S.creatinine all are in normal range.

Avatar n tn 4 months ago I started having a burning sensation in my urethra after I would urinate and also having discharges. I sought treatment and was given a shot + pills for chlamydia and gonorhea. I gave a urinanalysis sample too. 2 weeks later, the discharge had stopped,but I still had the occasional cloudy urine plus the burning urethra. I went back to the clinic and was treated for the same symptoms with the same pills + shot again.

Monocytes are made by the bone marrow and stored in the spleen. Monocytes help to fight infection. I drink a good amount of water a day already and I am vegetarian(I eat eggs and dairy though). I am worried because it was horrible passing the stone.

An EKG was normal, chest x-ray normal, an ultrasound did not reveal any kidney stones or gall stones, but liver enzymes were elevated. Two subsequent blood tests showed liver enzymes continued to elevate. My PCP wanted me to go back to the gastroenterologist, but first I went on a strict diet for 3 weeks as part of a fast, eating no meat, animal by-products, sugar or grains. Two days after the fast ended, I ate some chicken and rice.

Avatar f tn The only vaginal related problems I’ve had were ovarian cysts (2015 - present) and a torsion (2015). Other than that, I have anemia and get kidney stones (2017 - present). I was on the pill for a while, and I used the nuva ring for a few months, but whether I’m on or off birth control the smell has stayed. At first I thought the smell might have been normal, but I for sure know it’s not.

One thing i want to tell that the nerve around the left testicle is a bit thick and when i press it gently the pain goes in the directions (left lower/middle back, groin, left leg and so on). One more thing i have noticed that, the problem is sbdued in nature in summers and quite irritatating in winter but not unbearable.

Avatar f tn Before 3 lithotripsies in 2013 for large kidney stones that resulted in two blockages of my left kidney, my eGFR was 80. Last year my eGFR was 57 and this year it is 61. I also have a renal oncocytoma on my left kidney that is monitored by my urologist by CT scans every so many months with and without contrast. I have type 2 diabetes with an A1C of 6.7.

Is he taking any mediation to cause them or has he had them before? If you don't want to involve another MD, perhaps his PCP can also address this. Please keep us informed. Avatar m tn Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, infection in kidney, kidney stones, constipation, and an abscess in rectus abdominis muscle or psoas muscle can all cause lower left abdomen pain. It could also be a periumbilical hernia that has got trapped resulting in small bowel obstruction or mesenteric ischemia. An ultrasound or CT scan of abdomen is definitely required. Aortic aneurysm too can present this way. In women other causes can be ovary involvement, ectopic pregnancy, or endometriosis.

Tests (sonogram, cystoscope?) show no signs of kidney stones, kidney damage, or bladder damage. GI doc found polyps in the cecum, evidence of GERD - diagnosed GERD, internal hemorrhoids, and IBS.

The cat scan revealed no evidence of kidney stones, but my urine test revealed that I had blood in my urine, and had a urinary track infection. I was put on Coprofloxacin for that.
2053959 tn?1330448602 My son had his surgery on Mar 12th. The doc removed 4 stones from the right kidney and 1 large stone from the left. Recovery was very painful for him. Had to go back to the ER for morphine to help the pain. Got a fever a few days after that. In the end, the surgery didn't help much for his overall pain. His right side still hurts all the time. He's hardly at school and I have to get his work from the office. He's seen a nephrologist who give him Rx to help new stones from forming. But that's it.
