Each time I am treated and with-in a week or two, I have another one. I 've had 8 cases of BV, as well.My body has built immunities to Bactrim. It no longer works. I am now on Cipro. I follow all the guidelines the dr. tells me. I have been tested for all STD's including Clamydia-all were Negative.

When I drink lots of water, it feels somewhat better. So I've been on bactrim for 2 days now, but I see no difference. According to you can this irritation be due to those crystals in urine, provoking this problem? Can antibiotics make it all worse if not bacteria was the cause of the irritation?

He has a tumor within his bladder and his urine cannot pass thru which goes into his kidney and damages it. When we had Shaggy checked out in May our vet said that it's UTI...because I mentioned to him that he'd pee and then go to other spots and nothing comes out. So he was given anti-biotics. This went on for several months.

However beets are good for detoxifying, therefore good for the liver.Etv as we know or any anti viral treatment is released thru kidneys, so kidneys have to be taken cared of and celery and cucumbers are good for the kidneys. Juicing an apple, a carrot, celery and cucumber can only do good to the kidneys instead of harm. Carrots too are very good antioxidants. I havent tried heptech supplements.

The stones that these patients develop are calcium oxalate type stones. Thiazide diuretics are the main type of treatment in the USA, however dietary modification may help as well. If this doesnt work, inorganic phosphates may be tried.

Avatar n tn I wonder if you have a propensity to make oxalate containing kidney stones as tea has a high concentration of oxalate. If you were passing small stones (some use the term, "gravel') you might have symptoms similar to a urinary tract infection and even blood in your urine. The urine culture would be negative. There is oxalate in leafy vegetables, chocolate, and cranberry juice to name a few. An internet search will give you a more complete list. S.A.Liroff, M.D.

Avatar f tn CT scans cleared me from having anything wrong with my spleen, liver, gallbladder, appendix,I have been diagnosed with kidney stones but they are non obstructing, dormant, small stones so apparently they are unable to cause pain since they are not passing and i also i have no groin/ureter pain ever no burning while peeing or anything like that.: extreme right side flank pain ,behind/under ribs, comes in waves, travels to back close to spine.
Avatar m tn There are other side effects besides the diarrhea, such as kidney stones. That's why I didn't try it. I have a history of them. Just don't do this long term because your body becomes accustomed to the high levels of Vitamin C and you can get rebound scurvy. And be sure to have Imodium around for the diarrhea so you don't get dehydrated. Good luck to you!

I haven't felt hunger for almost two years, and I'm still doing alright! I just know to eat on a schedule, and fortunately (or unfortunately) I have low blood sugar, so I know to eat when I start to shake. The lightheadedness could be related to your lack of appetite in that same way.
