About a wk ago, he was still hurting and peeing blood, even though ct scan showed all stones were gone. They ran a scope up his urethra, and he had a stone stuck. Dr said just drink water, and it will dislodge. We are not sure if the stone has dislodged or not, but now he is peeing blood, pus is leaking from his urethra, his testicals hurt, and his kidneys hurt.

It's been three weeks since my diagnosis of having multiple kidney stones on the right side. Dave, I have suffered for many years with kidney stones myself (35 plus years and at least 35 plus stones). I had surgery for stone removal about 35 years ago and then didn't need surgery again until just the Spring of 2015. Those are the only two times that I have had to have stones removed and have stents. The other many times during all those years, the stones have passed on their own, sometimes multiple stones at once.

How long did it take for the pain to subside? My son had Stent removal a little over 2 weeks ago and still has pain. He swears it is not as bad as the pain he was having before the procedure, but a recent sono showed small stones in kidney so I'm not sure if his pain is Stent healing or stones. Hi there, I've recently had a cystoscopy with laser destruction of some kidney stones to my left kidney. I wasn't warned about the severe pain that came to me after the operation. They gave me morphine to numb the pain whilst in hospital but nothing to come home with so it was very sore indeed in my left side and back also the pain when I urinated was quite severe aswell.
