1663251 tn?1305880041 May 19, 2011 (Thursday), we had a webinar about kidney stones and the guest speaker lives in Japan. I was overwhelmed that we had a speaker who was a foreigner. We had our online quiz then we discussed the innovations of other countries about their technologies on computers. We also checked our requirements and accomplished our activities.
1663243 tn?1305789522 And then, we proceeded immediately with the web seminar. The guest speaker for today is a Japanese. His topic is about kidney stones. Many of my classmates had their questions. And I think, the webinar went well. The second agenda for the day is our quiz. I was not able to review for this one so I got a not so good score. And then we had a break. Also, today is our second to the last day of laboratory. And I can actually feel the vacation.
1663906 tn?1305877084 We had a webinar about kidney stones. The speaker is a foreigner from Japan. I found it a little bit difficult to understand him because of his accent. But the whole process is ok. His wife is with us. She is gracious enough to and helped us in communicating with her husband and to give us chocolate. Then we do the online quiz. I’m lucky enough to pass it. I did not able to review because I do not have a handout. And I’m thankful that our CI reviewed us before taking the exam.
Avatar m tn Well im 20 years old and in the us military. Today i had a whiz quiz and also really had to go #2. I didnt want to pee so i pinched it off while trying to go. Bad idea. The pressure was to much and i was forced to go pee. After i had finished i got the last bit out and noticed the last drops there was blood in it. Iv never had any troubles before and im almost positive that this blood was caused by pinching it off.
Avatar f tn The fluid, oh and just in the past 2 weeks, I am passing a kidney stone. But I have been hurting since December so I don't think these are running hand in hand. But if anyone has any answers at all for me PLEASE !!!! respond.
Avatar n tn All of the advertising that patriot does is pretty bizarre. If you quiz her on any of the details, of course she can't back up what she says. (Months ago, I tried to get details on some liver transplant patient's story from her----of course she couldn't give any-----all she does is copy & paste the rhetoric from that website.) She depends on people to blindly follow----and not ask any detailed questions or do any research on what she recommends. I hope you will keep coming to the board....
Avatar f tn I just found out yesterday that the Vit B6 i was taking was giving me side effects I described to my Urologist and he said to switch brands to a name brand which wouldn't do it .. interesting, isn't that? The B6 is for kidney stones not to grow; not thyroid matter.
167 tn?1374177417 Unless we live in a sunny climate all year round, and we get outside every day, we need a supplement throughout the fall and winter and even into the spring. Apparently 100% of us northerners are vitamin D deficient by January 1st...if we don;t supplement. And did you know that a deficiency of vitamin D can lead to cancer and to multiple sclerosis? Up in the colder north here we have much more cancer and MS.
147426 tn?1317269232 worst pain a person can have (excluding kidney stones and natural childbirth). I hope your healing process goes quickly and the pain subsides. I'm sure this depends on how much you follow the doc's orders. Seems docs make the worst patients. One other note. Can I use part of a comment from a post written above by you? "I had a DEXA scan a couple years ago and my bones rival those of a healthy 35 year old woman. I am unusually dense." It's the last four words I was referring to.
Avatar n tn HEY EVERYONE. IT HAS BEEN EXACTLY 7 DAYS SINCE I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET MY PERIOD, BUT NO PERIOD. I HAVE BEEN HAVING MENSTRUAL LIKE CRAMPS FREQUENTLY URINATING.. Avatar n tn As I read the many entries the most common theme is that the majority of people are taking large daily quantities of N+ I started taking them approx 2 years ago. This was because of shoulder pain, discomfort from kidney stones and a later hernia. I am of fairly light build which I feel has a bearing on the effects of N+ I started taking two at night to help me sleep (approx 8pm each night).
