Blood in urine is a sign of a really bad bladder infection or kidney stones..I had kidney stones with my first and never peed blood..got kidney stones again this pregnancy was peeing blood they said bladder infection but I ended up in hospital 3 days later with kidney stone attack so I either had both or was trying to pass stones..I would call my doctor so they can get a urine sample while you are peeing the blood out..
I'm 11 weeks today. My OB has been informed every step of the way as far as how they were treating my pain. I've had several ultrasounds over the last few weeks (due to the kidney stones not the pregnancy) and they have checked the baby. I'm measuring accurate and there is a heart beat. They don't seem to have concerns at this point.
I don't have gallstones but I do have kidney stones lol. One in each kidney and the bigger I get the more they hurt!!!!
I my self haven't. But they are extremely common in pregnancy. I think like soda and things like that are one cause of them. So steer clear of that.
Has anyone had kidney stones during your pregnancy and what did the pain feel like. I went to the hospital earlier and was sent home and told I was just experiencing round lig pain but I'm a bit skeptical of that verdict because it lasted for hours and the pain was so intense. I didn't test positive for a uti either but idk what to think. I dont have bloody urine but i swear i peed out something resembling a small pebble earlier too.
Had anyone had kidney stones? This is my 3rd child I'm 12+1 weeks.I'm healthy.but in the last 2 weeks I have had 4 kidney stones(on top of being really sick with"morning sickness"). Not kidding it IS worse than having a baby. MY ob said they don't effect the baby at all and pregnant women are more prone to getting them.had any body else had this problem.
I've had three stones pass over five yrs the last two within the past two and one having to be removed by surgery after blocking my bladder one yr ago during the ct scan I was told I had three on my left side and multiple on the right.
I guess I passed it because it settled off and the pain went away. Then when my baby was about 6 months old, I had one move in my other kidney. It was miserable again. After much running, walking, bouncing, and flooding my system with water, I finally passed it right before the urologist got his chance to fish it out! I was sooo relieved!
Iv had afew kidney stones in the past and it is n absoulte living hell. When i first found out i was pregnant i would joke like " watch im gonna get one while im pregnant" well its no laughing matter now that im 17 weeks and pretty damn shure i have one. Less sever then the previous ones but i do fear it becoming more sever.my question is, does anyone know what they do for them during pregnancy? Befor they just threw a script of percs at me and idpass it on my own.
I am currently not pregnant and experiencing pain in my side. Thought it may be stones -- no blood in urine. IVP shows a 3 mm stone in my right kidney (even though pain was more intense at the time on the left). I have hypothyroid and take 125 levothraxine. When I first started the medication (approximately a year ago) it helped with my symptoms (tired, Very forgetful, sore) but after about a week, symptoms came back.
I have had a KUB that has detected approximately 8 stones in my left kidney and 14 stones in my right. I even had lithotripsy on a 7 mm stone on the left. I continue to have the pain on the right. My doctor says that I should not be having this pain because none of the stones are big enough (all 3-5 mm) to block anything. However, still the pain. He has prescribed Vicodin, which helps a little, but I am beginning to feel a little like a druggie.
HI I'm 30 weeks pregnant haven't had an easy pregnancy constant kidney infection even passed kidney stones. The baby's fine thank God but I have really sharp pain in my pelvis bone over my vagina.
