Avatar n tn It can be epididymitis or orchitis. In cases of hernia, a prominent bulge along with testicular pain is there and in cases of kidney or ureteric stones, pain during micturition may also be there. You can provide support to the scrotum by wearing an athletic supporter, apply ice to the scrotum, take warm baths if there are signs of inflammation, while lying down, place a rolled towel under your scrotum or try over-the-counter pain relievers, like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
Avatar m tn Hello, This groin pain can be due to epidiymitis( which is inflammation of the epididymis), hernia, kidney stones( ruled out in your case), orchitis( infection of the testicles), testicular torsion, superficial skin infection or pinched spinal nerve. I suggest you to consult a urologist and get evaluated for these causes specifically. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar m tn hi. i had kidney stones throughout the week and went in and out of hospital until they confirmed i had two stones at the last junction of my tube and 1 still in my kidney. they discharged me on the saturday and the pain had gone alot. i was only experiencing little sharp pains and what feels like lower back pain. when urinating, it sometimes felt burny and uncomfortable. but nothing overly sore. i took the tablets to relax the tube on the saturday and the sunday and never again after.
Avatar n tn I have a long history of kidney stones. Ive passed a fair number of fairly large stones and have also had lithotripsy. My latest CT revealed no large stones, but i still have smaller ones in my kidney. Recently ive also had a severe 'bout' of PE. In years past this has not been an issue for me as I can usually last for a substantial amount of time during intercourse. Right now, I have little control ejaculation after i become erect. Its almost as if soon as i become erect, i ejaculate.

Avatar n tn m not going to be 100% positive on it, but if your son drank cranberry juice (lots of it) check into the effects of the oxalates(in cranberries) and the calcium(in your urine) building up to possibly form kidney stones, the last question on the linked page will be helpful if that's the case. http://www.uti-cleanse.com/faqs.php If not, the doctors could be just concerning about kidney infection due to the bladder infection which can get very serious.
Avatar n tn If with symptom, a person feels a sharp, cramping pain in the back and side in the area of the kidney or in the lower abdomen. If the stone is too large to pass easily, pain as well as blood may appear in the urine. Your symptoms highly suggest kidney stones but I recommend that you have this evaluated further by your doctor. Diagnosis is through an x ray or ultrasound. The results of these tests help determine the proper treatment. Furthermore, the chance of recurring stones is high.

Avatar f tn My cat Mini is a 6-year old male cat and has recently diagnosed CRF. Also kidney stones are found in the L kidney and one in the L ureter. The vet in Hong Kong said there's nothing we can do to get rid of the stone in the ureter, only surgery of removing the L kidney, but since his R kidney is not healthy as well (calcium deposits found in the R kidney), complication rate is very high, death rate is like 60%.
Avatar n tn I have had a KUB that has detected approximately 8 stones in my left kidney and 14 stones in my right. I even had lithotripsy on a 7 mm stone on the left. I continue to have the pain on the right. My doctor says that I should not be having this pain because none of the stones are big enough (all 3-5 mm) to block anything. However, still the pain. He has prescribed Vicodin, which helps a little, but I am beginning to feel a little like a druggie.
