Avatar n tn What can I do if my urine is a light yellow and what can I do if I had a kidney stone?
Avatar m tn you are talking about the pain you are having after you have passed kidney stones, but for me i think that your system has been compromised from the kidney stones taking their course and you need sometime to heal. As for the yellow bowels movements, that could be bile juices from gallbladder or possibly (not sure) from kidney stones passing. let yourself heal for a while and see how you feel, your body has been through something traumatic and needs time to feel better.

Avatar m tn I am a 25 year old male. I am healthy and active. About 3 weeks ago I started to have lower back pain. It is a deep dull pain and I am positive it is in the kidneys and not muscular. The pain is not always constant, however, I would say that it is there about 60% of the day. It's not sharp, but a dull deep pain. I have had blood in my urine since the lower back pain began. Sometimes my urine is a brownish color, ranging to red.

512560 tn?1222560127 Hey. Sorry you are having problems. I have read that kidney stones may be yellow, brown, tan, gold or black. Maybe you are passing several tiny stones. That would also explain the blood that you had previously. Call your doc. It is probably stones and when you get a diagnosis your mind will be at ease. Good luck.
1012861 tn?1250949418 More recently I have been experiencing flank pain and bladder pain, and I pee at least 25 times a day. I have 2 stones that are just sitting in my kidney not really moving. I had a cystoscopy today which showed nothing significant. Can the stones that are just sitting in the kidney cause all this blood and pain or could it be something else?
Avatar f tn i am pretty sure i am passing a kidney stone. i went to the toilet and almost immediately after going i felt a sharp pain in my left side. I got a ct scan last week, showing 3 in my left kidney and 2 in my right. i'm now passing little blood clots (no obvious blood in the urine), and what looks like tissue. could that be from the stone moving? i can't go to the hospital cause then it's a pre-existing condition and my insurance won't cover it...

11020738 tn?1414617945 I have kidney stones and the only thing they could do was an ultrasound which they say isn't very reliable. Sounds like you had an infection if the antibiotics are working. I as well refused meds for the pain. As far as the green vomit, bile can be yellow to green. But I would call your Dr just to be safe.
Avatar f tn Prevention strategies for kidney stones include - Increasing your daily fluid intake and taking the recommended daily allowance of calcium. Increase your fluid intake to the point where your urine volume reaches 2.5 litres a day. This may mean drinking up to 3 litres a day, if you live in a hot, dry climate or if you are involved in strenuous physical activity. Increasing urine volume decreases the concentration of minerals in the urine. This makes it less likely that a stone will form.
Avatar f tn I was born with a condition that causes my body to create kidney stones. I have been to the emergency room 4 or 5 times in the past 18 years for the large stones, small ones pass ok. My first stone caused bleeding and severe back pain also with pain in the lower abdomen area along with hot/cold flashes and vomiting. It may feel like someone is squeezing your kidney while at the same time stabbing it with an ice pick. I first though it was my appendix. I was wrong. Water, water, water.
896273 tn?1241699918 Hi I just recently had a 12mm stone removed from my left kidney took 2 ops(per and lep) but my Doctor was pretty sure all of it had been removed. My question is will it return and is it true that lemon juice is a good thing to stop it returning?

Avatar m tn Hello, Dehydration is the most common cause for dark yellow urine. The other causes are kidney infections, bladder stones or infections, and liver disease may make the urine look darker. some food or medications may make the urine look darker. The final diagnosis can only be made after a thorough physical examination and investigations like urine examination, ultrasound kidney and bladder and liver function tests. You need to get an evaluation done from a urologist.
Avatar n tn I had a stone that blocked my kidney and even after blasting would not come out without being scooped out. This was in my left kidney. Kidneys were both checked out thoroughly for damage and other stones - neither of which was found. Questions are...Since it has been two months and I haven't passed any stones are they likely to just stay put? If the larger one gets stuck after I have my surgery will they be able to go in and get it out without cutting me or screwing up the TVT?
Avatar f tn OK ladies I know u r not drs but...my drs office is closed. So I was taking a bath when I peed a little lol and this hard pale yellow rock like thing came out....I've had no blood or dark urine no bad lower back pains but I've been having bad rib pains in the back and a sore vagina but I'm 30 weeks pregnant so I chalked it up to that until this happened...I would have saved it but it freaked me out so I squeezed it and it crushed into like sand pieces......
4159057 tn?1350422784 It is a disease involving the defective transepithelial transport of cystine and dibasic amino acids in the kidney and intestine, and is one of many causes of kidney stones. If not treated properly, the disease could cause serious damage to the kidneys and surrounding organs, and in some rare cases death. The stones may be identified by a positive nitroprusside cyanide test. The crystals are usually hexagonal, translucent, white.
1384238 tn?1286028762 Urine is dark, slight odor and my eyes look slightly yellow. Sent to surgeon....gallbladder has to come out. My question is: is it typical with a distended jvery sluggish gallbladder to cuase all this trouble or is is something like Pancreatic Cancer (terrifying thought) and they've missed it? I am terrified to say the least! Anybody else out there like this?
