Avatar f tn For a week I've had dull mild pain in my right testicle on and off. I went to an urologist - he did a physical exam and ultrasound and said things looked normal. Told me to do a urine and semen test. Both came back normal - no bacteria. I'm wondering what could be the cause for this pain. I have kidney stones, but I've had many stones in the past none of which caused testicle pain. The doctor said it might be something with the blood flow and prescribed hidrosmin. This seemed odd.

Lab investigations like complete blood examination, urine examination, ultrasound lower abdomen and sometimes a urethral swab will help in diagnosis. Treatment will be started thereafter. My advise would be to consult a urologist. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Avatar m tn I have passed 4 over the past 10 years (all have been small enough to pass on their own) and a recent CAT scan shows I have 3 or 4 more small stones in the kidney. Last week I went from a 0 pain level up to a 8 or 9 all of a sudden in the right testicle. My right testicle swelled up and I ended up on my back with an ice pack the rest of the night. I take Aleve every 12 hours to try to keep inflammation down but that only does so much.
