Avatar n tn I'm 25 yrs old. 5 years ago started having urges to urinate, but stream would be slow and sometimes split. Doctor found a stone lodged in urethra. looked like it had been their a while, it was festured over. Urination was painful for a couple of weeks after removing the stone. I still have constant urge to urinate and go 3 to 5 times a night. I have stinging pains in my lower stomach, sharp sudden pains in left and right sides of my lower back area.
Avatar f tn This summer I experienced extreme pain in my right flank along with back pain on the right side and frequent urination. Dr thought it was either kidney stones or a pulled back muscle. After a couple of weeks this pain subsided, however then I developed swelling in my left foot that was thought to be gout. After a couple weeks this too subsided. Since Christmas I have been experiencing back pain on the right side, frequent urination again and occasional lower right abdominal and pelvic pain.
Avatar m tn Recently have had an issue of frequent urination more at night and also at day , once i go , then i feel or have the feeling i need to go immediately and only small amounts or dribble .
Avatar m tn Pain in the kidneys with the burning sensations of urinating and frequently urination needs to be investigated for infections and kidney stones. If the prostate gland is enlarged this can put pressure on the bladder causing sensations to urinate, but difficulty with urination. Having high sugar levels in your blood stream if you are glucose intolerant or have diabetes can also cause frequent urination.
Avatar f tn The most common causes of repeated UTIs are kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. Women who are sexually active, who use diaphragms for birth control, and/or are past menopause are at an increased risk for urinary tract infections. Making a diagnosis of a urinary tract infection includes performing a urinalysis test, which checks for the presence of pus, white blood cells, and bacteria in the urine, which point to a urinary tract infection.
Avatar m tn i have been to see my gp a month ago with kidney stones, painfull cramps ,the pain has gone but im passing alot of blood when i urinate and it also stings when i urinate which is about 20 times a day im male and 29 years old any help please
Avatar f tn To diagnose a UTI please get a complete urine examination and urine culture done. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. Drink plenty of water but if the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a urologist and get kidney stones ruled out by getting a CT KUB (kidney, urinary bladder). I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn E with severe pain in my back right hand side just underneath my ribs. After many scans, tests and ultrasounds I was told I had kidney stones. After months more of scans and wasted time I saw a kidney stone specialist who has said the stones are still in my kidney and that the pain I am still experiencing is not caused by them. I'm now at a loss as to what it can be as I was sure the two were related, especially with so many people confirming kidney stones do cause a lot of pain.
Avatar n tn and the pain seemed to go up and down from 5 to 9 repeating itself. my brother had kindey stones and he thinks it might be this but as teh pain went away could it just be cramps or something?
Avatar n tn After a short while i started having the urge to go to the bathroom a lot, most of the time only a little urine would come out. I had a check for kidney stones, there werent any. Ive seen a bunch of doctors, before my urine test used to have a little blood. Recently that has not been the case. Most of the time i feel like there's urine in the shaft of my penis and i have to go to the bathroom several times, sometimes a lot of urine comes out, im trying to drink less liquids.
Avatar n tn Other causes of blood in the urine are urolithiasis (bladder stones), kidney stones, bladder cancer, or kidney disease, bleeding disorders and others. It is best to take her the vet first thing tomorrow for a urinalysis, X-Ray of the abdomen, and complete blood work. If she has bladder stones thay would have to be surgically removed. Bladder cancer is sometimes visible on abdominal X-Ray, or ultrasound, and is of course serious.
515836 tn?1212103984 I have frequent urination and have been for months. I am getting sick and tired of it. I feel pressure and hurting like I have to urinate all the time and it does not go away. I am not pregnant. Can't get pregnant tubes were tied. I had a urine test done. No infection. I had a CAT Scan of abdomen to see if I had kidney stones. No stones. Does anyone know what this might be? I go to the Urologist this week.
Avatar n tn I have a burning sensation and the tendency of recurrent urination since 7 days--I am taking pruliflocacin since 2 days--according to ultrasound I have cystitis+prosatitis and I have only left kidney by birth. The urine RE tests shows no calcium oxalate cells-- So pl give the remedy.
Avatar f tn I have soreness in my pelvic region and sometimes I feel pain going to even my testicles. The soreness / pain is less frequent and severe than it has been, but it's still there. I've been experiencing difficulty passing normal bowel movements as well. I am only 29, and my docs think I'm crazy for thinking this could be prostate related.
Avatar n tn m going to have to disagree here and say get to the ER asap. Hard tissue and that much swelling with a kidney stone over 4mm usually means a blockage. With diabetes that could be deadly. I hope you get him in soon. Good Luck.
Avatar m tn Kidney stones, bladder conditions/infections, prostate issues, drinking too much coffee or other diuretic, and drinking too much alcohol. There are actually tons of other issues which can go on for quite a while that we normally wouldn't catch on to until they get bothersome.
Avatar n tn some pain in my left kidney which I have a small stone. Frequent urination and afterwards still feels like I need to go again.
Avatar f tn Yes, when I have a stone or stones, I'll have a much more frequent urge to urinate than when I don't have a stone. I've also experienced a very slight burning sensation at times with a stone too. Are you on anything like Flomax? I've noticed a more frequent urge since I've been taking Flomax too. Not sure if that's the Flomax, or just my age coming into play.LOL!
Avatar f tn Hi, Your symptoms may be suggestive of chronic ill health in the form of chronic fatigue syndrome, anaemia, deficiency of vitamins etc. Also for the pain in abdomen and frequent urination you should check out with a gynaecologist for an examination. If necessary and ultrasound scan may be done. Discuss with your Doctor. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn Most often it is related to urinary tract problems like kidney stones, inflammation of urinary tract, prostate enlargement, renal vein thrombosis, certain kidney tumors and polycystic kidney disease, blood coagulation disorders and anticoagulants. Diagnostic tests that may be performed include Urinalysis, Urine culture, X-rays of the kidneys, Cystoscopy, IVP, Abdominal ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen. The treatment will depend on the cause of the blood in the urine. I hope it helps.
Avatar n tn Hi, Kidney stones form when the components of urine are out of balance. When this happens, the urine contains more crystal-forming substances, such as calcium and uric acid. Kidney stones are also prone to develop in highly acidic or highly alkaline urine. Sometimes, the underlying cause is an inherited metabolic disorder or kidney disease. Gout, inflammatory bowel disease and some medications promote specific types of kidney stones.
Avatar n tn Along with high blood calcium, you may also experience frequent heartburn, gallstones, kidney stones, headaches, muscle, joint, and gut pains...(especially aching in you low back/hip/pelvic areas)...constipation...You feel "old"...sound familiar? Oh, did I mention frequent(maddening!) urination -all day and night? Good luck...If it is HPT caused by a parathyroid tumor, it's a quick and easy fix. You start to feel better in HOURS!
Avatar n tn Hi, Are there other symptoms present? A kidney stone is a solid mass made up of tiny crystals which may present as abdominal pain, blood in the urine, chills, excess urination at night, fever, flank pain or back pain, painful urination or urinary frequency/urgency. Abdominal CT scan, xrays or ultrasound of the kidneys will confirm the diagnosis of kidney stones. Menstruation problems are hormone and stress related.
Avatar m tn I am so terrified that I have one because I still have frequent urination and the feeling that I have to go right after I just went. No pain when urinating anymore. I have a long history with IBS and it's been bad this week with constipation could this be a factor? Please help. Thank you.
