Burning micturition is due to urinary tract infection. You have a history of recurrent UTI’s and kidney stones; so burning sensation during micturition and blood in the urine. It can also be due to dislodgement of the kidney stone in the bladder or urethra.
Kidney stones and recurrent UTI’s can lead to Pyelonephritis, Cystitis, Urethritis Glomerulonephritis and Urethral ulceration.
I just had one come out of my system a few days ago. After that I had a few blood clots. It did seem like there was tingling leading up to the clots coming out. It also seemed odd that there was a main part of the clots and then they kind of had tails on them. Even after I rinsed them with water, it remained the main clot and the tail.
today i woke up with sever pain in the lower side near my back on both sides, my urine is bright red, and while straining for stones( none yet) i found blood clots ( apox 5mm x 3mm) the morphine is not controlling the pain anymore, and im not due to go in for stent removal and lithro again until the 21st, is what im experiencing the passing of a stone or should i go be seen again by the ER ( my uroligist is 2 hrs away and my GP is not im until wed, so that is my only option.
Thanks for the info. I am a 30 year old female, and I do have extensive history of kidney stones in my family (although I don't know what type of stones they were). I have been straining my urine during these episodes and I've yet to find a stone. I have had sediment with particles that look like sand along with what looks like skin/tissue fragments. I haven't noticed at what time the blood appears but I have passed several clots in the urine.
Other causes of blood in the urine are urolithiasis (bladder stones), kidney stones, bladder cancer, or kidney disease, bleeding disorders and others. It is best to take her the vet first thing tomorrow for a urinalysis, X-Ray of the abdomen, and complete blood work.
If she has bladder stones thay would have to be surgically removed. Bladder cancer is sometimes visible on abdominal X-Ray, or ultrasound, and is of course serious.
Just go anyway your insurance will cover anything back to 3 months! So if you go when you get your bill just mail your insurance info to the hospital or take it up there.
An additional ct scan might be called for if this continues much longer, just to check and make sure all is proceding as it should following the procedure. As one who has had many of these kidney stones over the years, and two different procedures during that time to remove the stones, I can't remember suffering as your hubby is doing that many after the procedures were completed or from a stent. I wish your hubby the best and will be praying for his complete recovery.
i am pretty sure i am passing a kidney stone. i went to the toilet and almost immediately after going i felt a sharp pain in my left side. I got a ct scan last week, showing 3 in my left kidney and 2 in my right. i'm now passing little blood clots (no obvious blood in the urine), and what looks like tissue. could that be from the stone moving? i can't go to the hospital cause then it's a pre-existing condition and my insurance won't cover it...

After a while, I felt something large pass through my urethra and a reduction of pain immediately after. I looked into the toilet and saw that I had passed some sort of clot. It had dark brown blood and a whitish fleshy texture. It was irregularly shaped, but was approximately 3cm long and as thick as a pea. As the day went on, a passed a few more clots - bright red and small. I could feel a throbbing in my lower abdomen which increased in intensity with massaging.
Hi hope this gets to u. I had Renal Colic which lasted about 30hrs,pain but amazing pelvic pressure,constant peeing,blood in the water and small clots on whiping. I know l passed a stone or stones as at one stage on peeing l felt really strong contracting like feeings in my uretha and looked down to see brown stains/streaks in the toilet. After that the pain and pressure to pee stopped,was only left with sore back/side like l had brusing which has since gone.
Since giving birth I did have heavy periods with blood clots and they lasted a good 7 days, but this has calmed down to about 5 days with little blood clots, but my cycle is irratic, one month 36 days or so the next 23 days 24 etc. I get light headed in the afternoon and feel tired most days. I also have puffiness under my eyes (which iv never had before, like fluid on the cheek bone???) my doctor tested my thyroid levels threw a blood test and came back normal.
Blood in urine is a sign of a really bad bladder infection or kidney stones..I had kidney stones with my first and never peed blood..got kidney stones again this pregnancy was peeing blood they said bladder infection but I ended up in hospital 3 days later with kidney stone attack so I either had both or was trying to pass stones..I would call my doctor so they can get a urine sample while you are peeing the blood out..

How unusual is it for the stones to be in this meaty part of my kidney and since they are still in my kidney aren’t they just going to continue to grow larger? Are these stones causing damage to my kidneys? They don’t seem to be causing any blockages based on the ultrasounds that have been done, but I still have had frequent flank pain and blood visible in my urine prior to the surgery. Is there any hope that I will be able to be stone free and prevent more stones?
