First I was diagnosed with a kidney infection now they said my kidney was a bit swollen. They told me to take Tylenol for the pain. I told my Dr. that it's killing my stomach. I asked can I take Aleve she said I can switch back and fourth to Tylenol to Aleve. When I went to ER I was told you never take Aleve while pregnant. I've tried home remedies, hot pack and cold pack and nothing is helping the pain. I need more sleep but I'm so uncomfortable.

They're wanting to see if I can pass the stone on my own. I have put on 7 pounds of fluid. Im a little worried about the meds they have me to flush it out. Im curious if there are any known natural remedies that are safe to flush out a stone while pregnant.

I don't know about any home remedies, but you could pick up an over the counter Vagisil screening kit. The kit can indicate whether you have a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or something more serious in which you would need to see the doctor for. As far as the home pregnancy test, I'd try again using first morning urine if you haven't already. Hope this helps until you can get in to see the doctor.
I went to the hospital and turns out not only did I still have a bladder infection, it was in the process of becoming a kidney infection and the pain I was feeling was actually my bladder and kidneys CONTRACTING. They had to pump me with 2 bags of fluid because I was so dehydrated even though all I had been doing was drinking water. Don't put it off..trust me it's not worth it.
I am on an antibiotic as well as percocet as it is the only drug that takes the edge off. My question is, how much longer will it take for the stones to pass? Any home remedies for pain and to get these stones on their way? Could these symptoms be something else? Here is the background info: So a few days ago, I experienced symptoms of an UTI. Frequent urination, burning, fatigue, some blood in cloudy urine. I recognized what it was immediately and the first thing I did was drink a TON of water and cranberry juice, as well as taking cranberry extract supplements with Vitamin C. Within less than 24 hours, my urine turned clear, the burning stopped, and there was no more fatigue.
My husband is having severe kidney stone pain & ive read some home remedies on apple cider vinegar, but all I have at this moment is regular apple cider, would this work just the same? He needs some relief asap or any other home remedies suggestions.. Plz and thank u.
