I, too, recently had a severe bacterial infection of my ear, and developed the very-same symptoms - with uncontrollable itching of my hands & feet, which clears up with antihistamine. My worst bout occurred after I applied a hand moisturizer (Curel), leading me to believe that it was a contact allergy. However, a patch test ruled that out, and the symptoms have occurred spontaneously, regardless of having contacted any substance.

About three months ago I developed what has been diagnosed by a urologist as a bacterial bladder infection in the left side of my bladder. Around the same time my left hip began itching, but there is absolutely no rash, visible swelling, bumps, or redness. Now I cannot lay on my left side or it highly irritates it. I visited another doctor who took xrays and says that is is likely bursitis in the hip, but does not understand the itching.

Im 6months pregnant and I was diagnosed with a kidney infection. I had to take antibiotcs for 10days. About a week later I started experiencing itching and had a vaginal discharge. I had a paps and the doc gave me perscription for a yeast infection. (I was told that the anti can cause a yeast inf) So the next day I got a call from the doc office saying I tested positive for "trich" a STD. I have no doubt that my mate has been faithful.
I have had a reoccurring infection after a root canal over the past two years. Now my hands & feet are swelling up and showing arthritis like symptoms. Very painful. Alright so for quite some time now I have experienced a strange itching problem. Inside my labia Majora but not quite to the Labia Minora it itches. Just in between. Mostly on the inside of the labia majora in the crease where my lips close around everything. I thought perhaps it was because it was warmer so perhaps it was like a heat rash. It comes and goes. I went to the doctor and was given two different antibiotics as well as yeast infection pills (two that you take four days apart).
