itchy vag after shaving

Just so all you ladies know, you aren't supposed to shave your vag after 37 weeks as shaving can cause little cuts where bacteria can grow. That's what my prenatal class leader told us, anyhow!

This may be a bit personal and I apologize in advance but I have to know how are you ladies shaving your vajay jays , I'm 37 weeks and I just tried I got so frustrated that could have cried and I cut myself ,I hate having hair down there when I went to the hospital today I was so embarrassed , how do you ladies feel about using a hair removal cream down there ???

There are small and slightly raised dark color bumps in my vagina. A few days after I had intercourse, I experience a burn while peeing, itchy and burning sensation for 2 or 3 days then it disappeared. I didn't pay attention to it as I always feel itchy and kind of burning every fewdays after I shave so I thought this is nothing to worry about. But then after a couple more days I felt one small slithly bump down there.

I have no change in odor or discharge. Only symptom is this itchy little bump. Plz comment if youve experienced this and what is it?! Thanks ladies!

But, if my memory serves me right its was two days ago after I shaved (w/o using shaving cream, it was my 1st time shaving) I felt discomfort. At first I thought it was just due to it not being a close cut but that's not what was bothering me. It was the lips to my vagina. It had this odor and I was sure that it wasn't there before, not only is there pain and discomfort, I keep getting this feeling as if somethings moving around in me.

It started 2 days after i shaved so I kinda think its from shaving. But you never know. Us pregnant women have to go through the most just to get a beautiful baby.

Is there anything you can use to make hair go away in your lady area? Shaving is just not going to work anymore. It's difficult, I am 34 weeks and it's hard to bend to shave. So is there like hair removal cream you can use while being pregnant?

If you mean razor burn,like those little bumps you get after shaving your vag,there is a great product I use called tend skin. I dab it on with a cotton ball right after I get out of the shower and I don't get them anymore. I bought it at a day spa,but I think u can order it online.

Why do I get so itchy after shaving? It happens whether it's my under arms, vagina, or legs. Even after I moisturize I still have an itchy feeling.

Difference is i stupidly used beauty soap to clean my vag. Then few days after that i feel itchy between my hole and anus then few days again after that, i have lesions and sores on my vaginal hole and around my vagina. Like 6 small sores in total. I am scared what it could be but we are both negative on our hiv test last year and we've been together for 3 years. And we usually use condom although occasionally without.

Follucitis is a possibility for sure and yes you could have that many after shaving. I have. The lesions still don't sound like hsv to me. They are not puss filled. Again I doubt very much that this is hsv. That being said I really think you should have your Dr take a look just for your peace of mind..

Any other mommys to be having trouble shaving at all now? I'm 35+1 and I am on the burge of saying bump it. Lol. This belly has gotten in my way completely. And sad thing is, its around 70 degrees where I live. I want to wear my dresses and shorts but shaving is too much of a pain. I only shavethe day before my doctor visits now.

Okay, so my body has been severely out of whack the past few months. I had a herpes scare in aug.. small sores no blisters just opened sores. Negative type specific herpes blood test but severe yeast infection to the point the dr seen it growing inside my vag. But the sore worried her. She said to retest in 3 months. Sept I got preg. I had one more small open sore in sept but it went away fairly quickly compared to the first time.. I found out I was preg when I went in after that..

Anybody else finding it hard to clean up your lady bits?? I knew I would have to ask my husbands Assistance sooner or later with shaving but not this soon? I'm only 22weeks!! And although I'm small-my belly is definitely not. I can reach but not see lol. Anyone else ??

Lol Im 33 weeks and been having huge difficulty shaving that area for the past weeks I kinda just feel around and lift my belly up lol, im going to try a mirror next time since its becomming a project to get the job done

The last thing you think about is shaving for a while. I'm an every other day shaver myself, but when your body looks like you got out of a train wreck and your vag got hit with a baseball bat, you don't even wanna touch it:P at least wait until your stich dissolve and the swelling goes down!

Hi, very often having sores appear after shaving could surely be the cause as the ingrowing hair can irritate the already inflamed area.

I cant even see mine anymore haha 39w monday but im sure they seen worse thats whst i always say i was able to shave my legs though :)

ve always had the itchy problem after shaving, but since I shaved monday, this has been the worst case ever, and i think it has to do with the fact that i went swimming in a chlorinated pool on tuesday, which just aggravated the situation (not to mention the pool was coldish and caused goosebumps, which i think always make it worse). Grrrrr, Gonna go try a bath with some corn starch.

o but ive heard lots of women complain about their vag swelling/burning after sex. Ive had it happen, but i read it could be a lubrication problem, its commen in pregnancy to have this happen.

Using a full length mirror, sitting on a chair or low stool with legs far apart. Lol. I use hair cutting scissors and just trimmed back, not super short. I wouldn't wax either because when it starts to grow back you'll be super itchy and you'll be dealing with enough stuff in that area after giving birth so don't add something else!
