I was wondering the same thing. I litterly had the flu two weeks ago for a week, it went aeay and I got a sinus cold, now my nose is clearing up but I have a sore, scratchy throat and a bad cough, I can't et a break lol. Warm black tea with honey in it helps my throat. As for a runny nose I just put the vicks on my chest and ubder my nose it helped abit.
i have it too diagnosed on 5/28 i dunno about you but i dont want that where it is as long as possible, with home remedies i hear it takes 1-4 yrs or something like that to heal on its own or with home remedies... best to be sure, i waited 3 months to get it checked out and i hear it could've been healed in 3 months with treatment...

If ok with your doctor, have you tried an antihistamine/decongestant at night before bed .. sometimes what you describe may be post nasal drip but I'm not a doctor .. just my immediate thoughts reading your post. The decongestant may help dry things up. A sinus infection can do similar with the drip, too. The drip can also cause asthma-like symtpoms (bronchiospasms) to happen from the irritation.
Just some thoughts to ask your doctor.

I had jock itch and none of the creams or sprays for it worked. I tried a home remedy I found on the internet , and it worked. I wipe down the effected area at lest a few time a day with rubbing alcohol. The alcohol kills all the bacteria, cleans everything and evaporate to not leave any moisture for more bacteria to grow on. It did it in a few weeks and got better in days.
Ok so my legs get itchy whenever I sweat swim shower and sometimes just a little tinyest bit of perspiration will trigger it.ive read that a lot of other people have the same issues and I want to know what I can do to stop it. Btw ignore I'm already itching cold water seems to numb it.
I smell smoke at home, office, in the car etc. Sometimes I wake up at night cause I feel suffocated and open the windows although no one in my family smells anything (no smokers). I discussed with my doctor today who thinks it may be some respiratory problem and prescribed puffers for 2 weeks to see if it improves. Has anyone found out the cause of this? What is your doctor saying about it.

Alternatively, you could ask (or your doctor might recommend) that you go straight to an ear, nose, and throat doc so that they can use a scope to peek in and see what's going on with your vocal cords. I'll be wishing you well.
