ITCHING with huge WELTS?? I get really itchy all over and end up in large welts.. I suspect maybe something outside. My welts are terrible, if I scratch my back during a massively itchy period I can end up with hundreds of raised welts that slowly fade in about 30 mins. They are super super itchy! I am trying to pin point what is doing it, I am allergic to Mixed Grass Pollens, Birch and Aspergillus and a few other cats, mites dust etc. It seem it's coming from outside.

t feel it when my skin makes contact with something and welts appear that look like I scraped against something.
I went to a doctor and she determined it to be something that had a long name, and was more of a irritation so it was not treatable. Therefore, she wrote me a prescription for hydrocortisol and that was about it. It still happens now and I was just wondering if anyone knew what it could be?
I am not allergic to anything and have no other skin ailments.

back in Feb or Jan I had chickenpox an they went away and know I have these strange itchy welts bumps on my arm an one on my hands an one time one was on my belly but went a way. Hey all, for a couple years now I have been getting these welt type infections on my my skin. Mainly on my chest. They seem kind of like zits, but they aren't. It starts off with a red spot and grown bigger, then turns hard and leaves a scar. Very rarely does it pus or ooz. Just becomes a hard pigmented scar and goes away after several months. Meaning it fads. Any idea what these are? I'm sick of going to the beach with a red spotted chest...

It started when washing vegetables in cold water, my hands get all red, and have a burning itching sensation. Now, when I go outside in cold weather, any exposed skin gets red and itchy. I just came in from a bike ride in 35 degree weather, and my thighs are very itchy (and I did have leggings under nylon pants). However, I have never noticed any swelling or welts. My skin will become very itchy and then when I scratch bumps appear, its usually one big one, resembling a misquito bite with a bunch of other smaller ones all around. I thought I was bitten by a mosquito, but got home and found that I had 4 quarter sized large red itchy razed welts on my lower buttock and a larger 1/2 dollar one with a smaller one next to it (about the size of a penny) on my right upper back thigh. What is your age? Since when are you having the symptoms?
The symptoms you mention could be due to some insect bite, allergic reaction, etc. From what you mention about the associated symptoms it could be mostly due to allergic reactions.

I have large localized red itchy raised welts (4 quarter size under right buttock and 1/2 dollar size and one penny size next to it on right side buttock.) Thought I was bitten by mosquito on the way home from the gym(wearing shorts and T) but got home and found the welts. They itch very bad. I have checked for bedbugs...(no one has been sleeping in my bed but me, no hotel visits) I had one on the back of my thigh about a week ago,when I came from a friends house... but it went away...
I now have what appears to almost look like welts not right under the eye they are lower almost near the cheekbone and both eyes have a swollen type blotch and they feel like dry skin on top of the redness when you run your finger over them and it is itchy sometimes. The skin on my eyelid is also scaly dry and red and itchy.
I have very sensative skin and in the winter i also become very itchy and get welts and bumps all over. right now im pregnant so im using cocoa butter and its helps a lot. When i have an area thats itchy i put that on and it goes away and doesnt come back for a while. Its dry skin i believe thats causing your problem and in the winter everybodys skin get more dry so if you have sensative skin to begin with thatll happen. Even if it doesnt look dry try good lotion.
