Avatar f tn I recently had unprotected sex with my bf and the day after my vagina lip was getting itchy. I looked at it and it was little swollen and had these white spots/blister like. I'm getting scares I'm 18weeks pregnant... any advice?
Avatar n tn There had been a really informative thread here one day about skin & itching, that I cannot locate now, duh...anyway I think it might have been NY Girl (possibly?) discussing with a few others here about the gold bond products & them having a noticable menthol like smell to them. The were so right, I think there were 2 cream choices (packaging 1 green bottle & 1 yellow bottle) but I had taken a lil sniff, so pungent.
Avatar f tn You should get these sores cultured and a biopsy skin done for your mother to confirm the diagnosis. Herpes presents with red itchy sores but can be confirmed only after culture or viral antibody titres. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar n tn I have a very itchy skin rash that continues to spread. It started on my right leg with a couple of what looked like bug bites. But as I scratched it spread to my left leg and looked like impetigo. So my doctor gave me clindamycin. The infection went away but the rash was still there. Another doctor said it looked like mites and prescribed me premethrin, but I broke out in hives after using it. The rash then spread to my forearms.
Avatar f tn I know my exposure is at low risk according to wt doc said but i feel itchy all over my body constantly, has anyone experienced the same? Is itchy skin one of the hiv symptom? I also have dry mouth and white tongue started 6 days ago but is getting slightly better.
Avatar n tn I have had itchy bumps on my skin for the past five months. They started with just one bump and have continued to spread. They are mostly confined to my back and chest, however I have some on my arms and legs. The bumps are not red and are not noticable when they start itching. The bumps will eventually go away. I have seen four doctors and none have helped my problem. This discussion is related to <a href='http://www.medhelp.
Avatar f tn I have the exact same symptoms as well. Very itchy and skin is bruising prob. from scratching it so much. I soaked in the hottest bath imaginable for it on my feet and it relieved it for hours, but yet it still does not explain what this is caused from or how to prevent it. I don't have any faith in doctors or hospitals anymore because honestly they all depend on the net too much for prognosis/diagnoses whatever!
Avatar f tn I did not vigorously massage it in by any means but it wasn't just a brush of skin either, it was planted for a while. But the cut on my lip went away quickly, but was then followed by a white tongue with a few sores on my tongue, and tingly nose and itchy face. In the past I have not taken anti-virals daily. Once I realized that must have been a herpes outbreak, I went on the meds I already had at home.
Avatar m tn And also when it first showed up, I scratched it because it was itchy. What do you think can cure this problem and what possible solution should I do best for fast recovery.
Avatar n tn All of there produces contain Colloidal oatmeal. I also found that using baby oil apply during my shower helps with dry itchy skin. The wrinkles should go away after tx as they are cause more so by dehydration of the skin cell, from what I have been told. Again drink lotsa water and try the Aveno.
Avatar n tn My daughter recently had Cocksackie virus. I have not gotten fever or hives like she did, but I have had muscle, bone, and joint pain for about a week as well as been a bit more tired. Could it be the same virus manifesting itself in a different way, or should I get checked for lyme disease or some type of scarier disease? I am outside a great deal because I am a cyclist, but I have not had any ticks or weird bulls eye rashes at all....
Avatar f tn We were told we just had some virus and would have to wait it out. Fine, 3 weeks later, we both have extremely dry, itchy skin and our palms and soles of our feet are bubbly and peely. Does anyone know, is this just part of the virus or do we have a skin ifection or something?
1690397 tn?1341113991 She thinks my left forefoot was severe athlete's foot and prescribed me clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate USP, 1%/0,5% and my left forefoot became almost healed. The skin is still a little itchy and a little bubbly but back to normal skin color and no more oozing or insane itching. I used it under my breasts and the skin is back to normal color but still a little rash remains.
Avatar m tn Several people told me this is not a way to contract it, and that it needs to be direct skin to skin contact, and that it basically needs to be rubbed into the skin. Ect...... I'll greatly appreciate an answer that would relive my paranoia.
Avatar f tn Sometimes I get a big, red, itchy circle but instead of turning into a blister it just goes away. Most recently it comes as many small, itchy, red bumps that don't ever blister. Always that same right elbow-never spreads anywhere else, always goes as mysteriously as it comes. It no longer necessarily preceeds an illness, but occurs at strange times over and over again. What is this and is there something I can do about this?
Avatar m tn Cold for weeks, sweats, headaches, nausea, anxiousness, itchy skin as if u feel like something is crawling on the inside of ur skin all over. I also have diarreah, swollen throat which causes vomiting and stomach pains occasionally.
Avatar m tn It could be Shingles, which is related to the virus that causes Chicken Pox. Shingles can start out just like you described. If this is Shingles, you will have to reduce contact with other people to prevent the spread of it. The idea that someone who has had Chicken Pox is immune to it is false. I know this from experience. This is something you cannot delay in seeing a doctor about. You need to go now. Call your doctor and get an emergency appointment for today.
Avatar n tn So the question the VL was 16 million 1 yr ago, the liver did regenerate from stage 3 to stage 1 that was 2 yrs ago. Avatar m tn I've had this itchy red skin rash now for almost 2 weeks, and quite honestly have no idea what caused it. The rash mainly consists of tiny red bumps all over my arms, upper thighs, back, chest, abdomen, and neck. There is no fluid leakage like puss or blood, nor are there any boils. Now parts of my skin are starting to blister / flake. I am thinking it may be an allergic reaction but to what?
1258248 tn?1328779078 Benadryl might help with the itching but it doesn't deal with the route cause. You could get some aveno products, they're made with oatmeal and are soothing to itchy skin. My advice is to see a heptologist, (a liver doctor) or at least a GI for a second opinion. Good luck.
