itchy skin elbows

I have a pimple red itchy rashes on my elbows, it started off as one and it itched so much i scratched it, then it got worse and my other elbow began to itch also. =( what do you think it is, could it be a allergic reaction or eczema?

I have been having like spots that are very itchy. The skin around them is red and the itch is intense. They are different size and the biggest is about 2 cm wide. They started to appear on the legs then the forearms, the elbows and now on my back. I have them on the same part of the body. Meaning I have some on the inside of my left and right calves for example. Same on the outside of my left and right thighs. After a hot bath they weep.

Hey, can anyone help me for about a week or so now i've had dry, scaly, sore, itchy skin on both my elbows, when I do itch it, it bleeds a small bit. It's getting quite painful and annoying. Any help or advice would be great.

Hi, I've had what looks like the same thing for the last few days. Itchy spots on hands, knees and elbows. I saw the Dr today, who advised it's probably result of a viral infection, which will clear up by itself after a week or two. For the itching, she prescribed Telfast antihistamine as my over the counter Clarityn wasn't enough. I hope this helps others!

Hello, so i was examindes with molluscum contagiosum about a month ago and it is clearing up nicely it was in my groin area but have now developed two new skin conditions one has apeard on my hand, elbows and knees the other on my penis.On my penis i have flaky dry skin with a tiny rash that doesn't hurt or itch the other one was really itchy blistery like bumps that have now almost cleard up with the help of a creme named Fucicort that was prescribed to me.

I started dating my current boyfriend 4 months ago, and since then i have been getting hives and patches of red rough skin on my elbows and had extremely itchy skin basically everywhere. We have protected intercourse everytime but do engage in unprotected oral both giving and receiving. My question is, are there any early skin sign such as I mentioned above of HIV? it has been about 4 months and the itchy rash started in the inner thigh and it comes and go's .well it is right on the pores of the skin ,it will be there under the skin but as soon as you itch it comes out red bumpy and some times in a patch. it gets itchier and itchier if you scratch and you leave it alone it will go away but that was for the first 3 months. now it is gettig worse its still the inner thigh and on back of legs around elbows alittle on outter thigh.

Yes cold weather can make the elbows dry red chaffed and itchy too. Apply a good moisturizer sever times a day. Glycerin mixed with rose water too helps. If this does not help, consult a skin specialist for it could also be due to eczema, dermatitis or fungal infection. Hope this helps.
