I get an itchy chest from time to time normally after about 2-3 weeks after shaving my chest. I also have eczema and sweat quite a bit during my work outs. Saw my Dermo she said it was heat induced folliculitis. The only reason I worry is that - one, it is quite itchy when it happens, and two, I only noticed it after an encounter with a woman I had that was unprotected, although I have been tested 14 weeks out for any STDs and were all negative.
A month ago, I got these little red dots on my back and stomach. they're really itchy. suddenly, they've transferred into my arms and legs. after sometime they're gone, my skin became "chicken skin". and now when I feel itchy and scratched my legs, red itchy bumps will appear. They're like mosquito bites. But when I stop scratching, they will be gone after few minutes. What could these be?
s probably a result of the hormones, which can do that (happened to me with both of my pregnancies). Depending on where you are in pregnancy, there are a couple of other things it could be, but I'd talk to your doctor.
Help. About 4 months ago, I developed an itchy scalp (no flaking), eyebrows, eyelashes and soon itchy bumps all over my face. Now, it's slowly moved to chest, shoulders and back. I've noticed it's where I sweat. Also, it clears up as it moves around. In other words, my face and chest are much better, but shoulders and back are new. I work out 5 days a week. Two one hour sessions of cardio make me sweat in all of these affected areas.
I have had a strange skin condition for a couple months now. There are two, one on my chest and one on my sternum. I originally thought it was ring worm because i have had it before however, it is not irritated or itchy. They are just raised rings no more then about one centimeter long and wide. I have used antifungal cream which did not work and am currently using a steroid cream which has not worked so far.
I have asked about VERY itchy skin and it sounds like I am not alone. In addition to the itchiness, my skin is red for the most part of the day. It is over most of my body - face, arms, chest. Does anyone else have that happen? I am wondering if Benadryl would help. If it is due to my wacky autonomic nervous system (is it?), is there really anything that could help. It is driving me crazy and at times I am scratching so hard that I actually tear up my skin.

Hey all, for a couple years now I have been getting these welt type infections on my my skin. Mainly on my chest. They seem kind of like zits, but they aren't. It starts off with a red spot and grown bigger, then turns hard and leaves a scar. Very rarely does it pus or ooz. Just becomes a hard pigmented scar and goes away after several months. Meaning it fads. Any idea what these are? I'm sick of going to the beach with a red spotted chest...
Two are one my stomach area, different sides, not near one another. The third is on my upper chest in the collar bone region. They are appear to have a circular/semi-circular shape. The shik has become lighter in these patches. These patches are not itchy, not raised, not dry/rough, and not firm. I feel fine, no fever, other rash, not taking meds, and no swollen lymph nodes. I'm in good health with no major illness in my past.

For the past few years I have noticed res spots on my back that over time grow together and now cover a majority of my back and just recently I have been getting similar red spots in my inner arm between my forearm and bicep also on my neck and chest. Sometimes they can become itchy usally when it's warm or hot.

The bumps are not particulary red, they are really hard to see, easier just to feel the bumpyness on my skin, but they are pretty itchy. In addition to the patch on my back I now have a patch on my chest, above my breast, that is particularly bad.
The doc gave me a steriod cream and an antifungal, neither seem to be helping. The redness is decreased on my back, but it is still raised and itchy.
