I have had a rash like small hives around the neck and upper chest, very itchy I have gone to the doctor several times and have gotten steroid injections and have only helped for a week and then its back, currently he put me on Predisone 40 mg and have tappered to 5mg and now the rash is back. It seems to surface at night and I noticed that I am real sweaty at night not to mention very itchy. I do have Rheumtoid Arthritis. Could there be a connection?
Hives or urticaria causes red and sometimes itchy rash on the body such as face, neck, trunk, arms, and legs and perhaps anywhere on the body. They are usually allergic (food, medication and insect stings) but may also be due to infections and stress. Many a times no specific cause for them is ever found. They usually go away on their own, but in sometimes oral antihistaminics (such as cetirizine, loratidine, benadryl available over the counter) may be needed.
5 days after the possible exposure my chest, and neck became itchy, and I noticed a rash.. more so redness on my chest, and a few red bumps on my neck accompanied with redness. The next day I showered, and after washing my face with soap my cheeks began to have swollen reddish appearance, it also itched. This got me very worried, and I've noticed slight rashes on my upper back, and right forearm. The thing with my rashes are that they come, and less than an hour it's gone.
I have non-itchy, non-painful, red raised sploches on my stomach, chest and neck. Sometimes dry looking and sometimes get really dark or almost fade away. It isn't uncomfortable, just not nice to look at. I want to be able to wear a bikini this summer but won't looking like this. Any help would be much apprieciated.
I have had this rash for about 3 weeks. It keeps spreading, it started on my chest now its on my chest stomach back shoulders and neck. I'm a insulator so at first I assumed it was a skin irritation from insulation but it keeps getting worse. It gets worse when I get a shower I thinly from the heat.

s very irritating. Something similar happened to me. I had an outbreak of an very itchy rash on my forearms,wrists, stomach, and legs, and some places on my back. I don't know where it came from. I thought it could have been from New detergents or coming into contact with poison oak, but that wasn't the case. No matter what remedy I tried, it did not worth. Topical creams wouldn't help either so I had to get a steroid shot from Urgent Care because it had gotten unbearable.
Feels like a bad sunburn or nettles of the neck. Now it is my whole front neck and upper chest area and feels like it is moving toward the back of the neck and onto the cheeks.
I have tried everything...antihistamines-oral and topical cream-zyrtec, benadryl cream, cortizone cream, clamine lotion, aquaphor, healing oils, cold compresses...nothing is helping.
Can't think of any new foods, beverages, clothes, products...nothing

Hi, I'm a man, had sex activities with a woman of unknown sexual history last week and a couple of weeks before. I used condom all the time. I notice serious rash on her face (part covered by her long hair), neck, and back. She told me she lost 15% of weight in last several months. I'm uncut and didn't take shower after sex. Now, I feel itchy on my skin and a few rash marks on my chest and back. Am I at risk of infecting HIV? Thanks.
However, I discovered that I too had these itchy red bumps all over my chest, neck and upper arms. These bumps got much worse every morning and the itch decreased just a little bit before 8 pm each night after the application of a lot of makeup.
We tried taking benadryl, cold shower, aloe and all kinds of itch creams from the store they had in the hotel. Nothing worked. Each day for 6 days the rash got worse. The rash spread to other areas (legs, stomach etc.) and became more red and bumpy.
There are also some of these present on my upper chest. And at the same time I have a mild itchy rash in the contact area of my upper thighs and scrotum.
Are these connected? This seems to have started 5 weeks ago when I went through a course of Zithromax for a sinus infection.

00 I noticed that I was extremely itchy in my hair, behind my neck, and around my chest area (directly underneath my bra). I decided to lift mt shirt up and that's when I noticed I was red completely under my bra, the red matched the exact shape of my bra. ve been getting this red spots/itchy patches all over my legs, arms, back, chest and sometimes my neck. I try not to sctrach them but they are really itchy. I have longish nails so when I do i get red patchs like a rash all over! I've had this for the past 2/3 weeks and it just keeps getting worse. I had gone to the ER for another reason and just so happen to have the rash show up 30 mins before going. The ER doctor gave me a medication for chest pains I was having. There was a numbing agent in it. I think it was lidocaine, they wanted to see if my chest pains were GI or not. It ended up making the rash much worse in my face. The first time I went to get it looked at they told me it was Shingles. It is not painful at all until it scabs over.
Hey im 17 weeks, and for the last month or two ive had a pimple like rash all over my chest, neck and back! At first I thought it was just achne but this is getting ridiculous! Its not itchy; but it wont go away! They are everywhere! Pinky bumps just keep popping up everywhere, some have pus heads, some have yellow gunk, some are like blackheads, some are pimples, but most are just lumps! She had bright red hives on her neck and down her back. Same on neck and chest. Took her to doctor who thought allergen Ruben in her eye. She has peanut allergy. I was unsure because we didn't have peanuts. Maybe new allergy. Took her to allergist after rash didn't go away for a couple days. She thought she seemed sick. The rash would flare in the heat or when she was active. She was jumping around the office then instantly miserable and itchy. Since last week the rash has changed.
Hi recently i've developed a rash like appearance on my chest and back of my neck. its not red, just normal in colour, just like loads of tiny white/ skin coloured bumps giving my skin a very rough feeling and appearance.Its not itchy, just giving my skin a horrible appearance. Any idea on how to treat this would be appreciated.
