hi I have noticed a week after I had a shave I have got a red sort of rash in the pubic area and few red spots near rash the rash or little spots arnt itchy just red the rash this morning was dry and was pealing little bit so I put cream on it to stop the dryness but al still there I also changed my washing powder last week thinking it could be a bad reaction any advice would be great full thanks
Hi, I have a really itchy red type of bumpy rash around my lower stomach, and groin area. It actually started in the groin area. I work in a refinery and have to use porta cans a lot. I don't know what it is, but it is very itchy, and very painful now. I have tried the clolotromin, and benedryl clear anti itch, but nothing is helping.
For the past 8 months I've had a rash in my groin. The skin on my inner thighs is dark brown and feels very dry and rough. When my thighs rub together it irritates the area, especially if the area is moist from sweating. I also have a burning pain in the anus and it can feel dry in there, sometimes bowel movements can hurt. The edges of the scrotum are also painful, the scrotum in general looks more wrinkled than I can remember.
Sitting for long periods of time is painful.
So scabies wouldn't cause itching in the general groin area only? I was looking at some pictures of scabies cases and noticed the nodules associated with scabies looked similar to the ones I have. Also the rash I have had resembles pimples or bug bites.
Hi, I have a rash around the groin area. It started as a small little red dot and after a week it is all red and becomes extremely itchy. Over a week period, the redness goes to a dark color and the flare up of the redness and itchiness starts over again. I can't seem to get this rash under control. Is there any type of internal medication that I can take to eliminate this condition. It is extremely frustrating.

The itchiness is now turned into a rash and the affected area has skin peeling off and it's annoying me. The outline of the rash is more raised than the rest of the surface. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. The affected area is still constantly itching and it's scaring me. It becomes red now and again but not always.
You have suggested a few possiblities of the infection; is any of that related to the fact that I had sex 3 months ago ?

I have a rash in my groin area. Ive had jock itch for a while now, but recently ive had intensely itchy rashes on my foreskin as well. The rash is made of small bumps and lines that swell when i scrath them, and they appear to be filled with pus. The rash appears for about a week, then disappears for a week. This cycle repeats itself. When the rash on penis appears, the outer ring of my jock itch gets inflamed as well. I have never had sex, nor have i had any sexual/intimate contact.

About a week after having unprotected sex I noticed about 5 larger red pimples on my penis and then a itchy rash in both groin folds. I went to a doctor and he said they were nothing to worry about. He thought the pimples were bacterial ("Follicitus") and the rash was jock itch. He gave me antibiotic pills and cream for the pimples and anti fungal cream for the rash. However, it has been 6 days now with no real improvement. Any other thoughts/concerns? Please help. Thank you.

As of 3 weeks now i have had a red rash around the right side of my groin. The rash is itchy and raw in the crease between my thigh and my groin. Around that time i also received oral sex from an old fling. (I have reached out to her and she says she is clean and has no symptoms of any kind.) The rash has since appeared on the left side of my groin but not as intense as the original. I have used Lotramin AF, Lotramin Ultra, Tinactin and recently started Calamine lotion. Any suggestions?
I started having a redish kind of dry, itchy rash over my groin area, now it's over the other side and vulva area, I don't have any discharge, I'm sexually active , I'm in the menopause stage and allergies here and there that sometimes I need to take allergy meds because my eyes are icthy . If I start scratching I can't stop till I live the area very irritated and tender.
The rash started off as small red bumps that I could not help but itch, the became small scabs as I itched them, but are slowly fading away. However, it still remains itchy in the groin area, I shaved all my pubes off just incase it was crabs too!
The bumbs are now a colour of my normal skin but slightly redder. I have not really noticed anything too bad about my health whilst I’ve been away. It doesn’t hurt when I **** or have a discharge from my penis.
Im wondering whether I have jock itch because I am very sporting but I have always worn tight brief underwear instead of looser boxer shorts,my groin occasionally smells aswell and I have marks in the groin that look like its been caused by my underwear rubbing against the skin...any help with what ive got?
