I have a maculopapular rash on both my legs. They're red and itchy and i would like to know if this could be a symptom of hiv. I had oral sex and protected vaginal sex with a prostitute about two months ago.
There are some rashes associated with pregnancy like Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP), Prurigo of pregnancy, Pruritic folliculitis of pregnancy, and Pemphigoid gestationis. PUPPP is the most common, however it is seen more on stretch marks and during the third trimester. If you have gained a lot of weight during your pregnancy then this is a possibility.
Allergies can become more aggressive when you're pregnant bc your body is trying to keep foriegn particles at bay even more so then when you're not pregnant. Although this is not a sign of pregnancy. Also a lot of woman develop pregnancy rash..there are many different kinds so if you are pregnant & have a rash you need to have it looked at asap! & these rashes have nothing to do with stretch marks. I don't have stretch marks & i developed a rash a few weeks ago.
I get that on my forearms, and.my inner upper arms. Sides of.my thighs sometimes as well. Been very dry this pregnancy. Lotion multiple times a day. Doesn't make it go away but less itchy and irritating. Known for woman to break out in hives during pregnancy. I'm assuming that's what it is. Its getting better as pregnancy continues. I'm 36 weeks.
I had a developed an itchy rash on the back of my hands, on my wrists, stomach, and legs. The physician at the Urgent Care center gave me an steriod shot and prescribed predinisone 10mg. He questioned me about my last period, but he never conducted an urine sample to do a pregnancy test. After taking the meds for a week, I found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant. It's scary because I know my pregnancy is very early and I don't want any developmental issues going on with my unborn.
Hey everyone! I am 5 weeks pregnant and have this extremely itchy rash on my body, particularly my arms, chest and trunk. It looks like tiny red bumps and appears to be more severe when I scratch (but it's so hard not to!!!). I've read about pregnancy rashes, but they usually occur much later in the pregnancy. Does anyone know what could be going on and is this normal??
I started being really itchy at 30weeks with no rash, told my doctor and they drew blood to check my liver, apparently you can get a pregnancy induced liver disease that goes away after you give birth, in my case my results came back negative so it's just another normal pregnancy symptom.
This morning i woke up with itchy feet and noticed that i have red spots all over my body. My feet and hands are slightly itchy and the rest of my body is just spotty. Im 34 weeks pregnant and not sure what i should do...has anyone else experienced this?
I'm currently 23 weeks pregnent with my 2nd child and its such a different pregnancy to my first and my problem seems to underneath my boobs are all very spotty and red and can get very itchy at times was wondering if anyone knew a good cream to put on i only bought cocoa butter bust cream but doesnt seem to be doing any good and have asked other mums but none of them seem to have this problem and couldnt suggest much apart from nappy cream if anyone has any suggestions i would be very grate
