I read a comment for curing bilateral itchy legs a while back and it has totally worked for me and I want to share it! My legs started itching bilaterally all of a sudden and would really itch more after a shower and at night time when I was in bed. It was driving me crazy! I had no rashes or bumps but the scratching was leaving my legs bruised. Then I read a comment on this website and all I had to do was exfoliate my legs in the shower a couple of times a week! That's it!

i went thru a lot of posts here, n i can c dat a LOT of ppl get an itch after shower/swimming. well i too get extra itchy after a shower, but my legs itch otherwise also, for no rhyme or reason. although i havent tried any of the creams n lotions, i have been using herbal soaps for like my entire life, but this problem started just a month back. being a dietitian, i have already tried an elimination diet to check for food allergy, but NOPE. this thing isnt an allergy.

I used ice packs in the beginning, and then I started a cold water rinse on my lower legs with a hand held shower after my normal shower. After drying I applied the Sarna Creme. The itching has stopped. I'm not sure if is the cold water or the Sarna Cream, or a combination of the two. I use the cold water rinse after every shower now because I don't want to risk having the itcy legs return.

Some pregnant women develops excema which makes you super itchy. I use a body lotion on myself after every shower, try a Shea butter based lotion. I use a body butter lotion myself and it helps with the itching a lot.

Why everytime I take a shower my legs itch uncontrollably? I've tried just about everything, but nothing seems to work. The first time it happened, I had been outside in very cold temperatures for about 15 minutes.

I have had itchy legs for YEARS, not all over, just my legs. I've tried changing soaps, detergent, lotion, everything. I have been to several doctors and no one knows what it is. I have heard that it could be a gluten allergy? so i have to try that. The itching is the most annoying thing ever...i often cause myself to bleed because of it. Im glad Im not the only one with "itchy" legs. I have had "itchy" legs for years. I have been told it was all in my head. And have tired almost everything for dry itchy skin. Its mostly my lower legs, the front and side. Sometimes its my upper leg. When they itch, it feels like they are itchy from the bones. I end up itching them so much that I tear my legs open, and usually get a faint scar. They seem dry usually, but are as smooth and soft as my hands are.

I'm on my third pregnancy - 9 weeks - and my legs have been incredibly itchy, starting a week before I found out I was pregnant. Is this at all related to being pregnant? I never had this with my other two but I can't stop the itching - especially at night!

I have yet to take the drug but I am going to let you know if it also helps with the itchy legs. I really dont think the itchy legs are caused by histamines. I think the problem is Eosinophil mediated. It makes sense that inhibiting leukotriene's might solve both problems. My legs have been itchy every day since i was born. im 21 and i have always had itchy legs. when i was younger my family would all scream at me as once i started i couldnt seem to stop. the itching gets so bad that it annoys you and fustrates you and it becomes painfull. My dad used to smack my legs where it was itching and it used to help but it didnt last too long only for about 5-10 mins and i would be scratching again.

Hey, my name's Olivia and I'm only 13 years of age. After every shower I have I will always come out with itchy legs. It's really annoying and doesn't stop until about half an hour later. Before I never used to have this problem or it only would occur every now and then but it's just been getting worse. Now every single shower I take no matter what, I will have itchy legs. I'm young, I don't know what to do.

What I started doing was taking lukewarm showers instead of hot, using Eucerin calming shower oil and then immediately after the shower lathering on tons and tons of Eucerin calming cream and letting it soak in for 5 minutes before rubbing it in. If you can, wait to put on clothes for a half hour or so until all the cream soaks in (I found that the cream acts as a barrier to the clothes, otherwise as my pants touch my legs the itching starts all over).

Please help me!! I am suffering very badly from itchy legs.. I have NO RASH!! It usually triggered from when i take a shower, and when i get out its like the sky caves in..my legs itch soooo bad! I have to put bags of frozen foods all over them to numb them so i don't scratch the heck out of them! However, it has been gettgin worse, they have been itching more and more and without needing a shower to trigger it.. Sometimes its when i lay down to go to bed, or when i wake up in the morning.

I get itchy on my arms, then I scratch and get itchy on my legs then my feet and back, so irritating, talking about it makes me itchy!

I find that I get more itchy if I shower in the day time than if I shower at night. Is this stress related? Am I causing myself to itch by worrying that I will get itchy whenever I take a shower? Please help!

Omg so last nugth I got out of the shower and my back and legs and belly where soooo itchy so I put lotion everywhere now only my lower belly is itching like crazy the bad thing im getting alot of stretch marks around my belly button no where else but im still itchy lol

8 weeks pregnant and miserable still. Im so itchy all over especially my legs, I have bumps all over my body and scaps from scratching so hard.
