So, I find myself stuck wide awake at 2am with itchy hands that I can't seem to scratch. The itch can be so severe that I feel like I'm going insane. I took a couple ibuprofens for pain/inflammation. No relief. I took a couple benadryl for allergic reaction. No relief. Anyone have any ideas on possible relief?
I have a case of itchy hands. I can't help but itch, and I get to the point when I keep itching, that I start forming little white bloches, and bumps all in between and around my fingetrs, palms, wrists, and anywhere else on my hands~!! I've tried to convince my mom to take me to the clinic, but she thinks it's a bad case of dry skin.
So i been really itchy from everywhereee its so annoying how i have to be scratching myself all the time, especially my hands they are really dry and sooo itchy i have like a rash on my hands it looks kinda brownish, idk how it happened it just started out of nowhere then my whole body started to itch, has this happened to anyone? Or is it because of pregnancy? Anyone know what could be or whats good for it?
The knuckles and fingers of both hands, closest to the back of the hand, have dry, red, VERY itchy patches. Lotion stings because they are cracked and I think itching them has broken the skin. They seem to flare.. like get worse sometimes but I haven't determined a pattern. I don't have it all the time, and no one would really notice unless they specifically looked at my hands and saw the redness.
Haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what this is and wondering if anyone knows.
I have eczema and it seems like we suffer from the some of the same symptoms. The outsides of my hands, particularly my fingers, are very,very dry and itchy. Sometimes I get little pus-filled bumps too! Eew! I know it can be very embarassing but here a few tips that I found to be useful...
1. Use perfume-free lotions, body washes,etc.
2. After washing your hands dry them ENTIRELY.
3.Vaseline is an inexpensive moisturizer you can get the generic brand for $1 and it works just as well.
try using an emmolient cream if your hand is dry. I find it very helpful. If it's extremely itchy maybe you need some medicated cream.
If you have any doubts always bring up your concerns with your doctor.
I get itchy skin sometimes usually when it's dry, I don't drink enough water, I eat bad, don't get enough rest. It itches at first then becomes a dry/scaly patch. With some TLC and lotion, it goes away.
This is my second pregnancy and I have noticed that my eczema flares up more often as well. Normally when I'm not pregnant, I only get it when I'm super stressed or tired.
My boyfriend has this rash type thing on his hand. It originally started out just a small dry/blotchy area on his palm and has now spread over his entire palm and onto 3 of his fingers. It is now rather red, blotchy, terribly itchy, painful, dry, blistery looking. It doesn't bleed or puss (that I know of) but he complains it hurts alot and sometimes the itching is unbearable.
I found that Eucerin Plus intensive repair dry skin care hand cream works for my legs and hands. It has some ingredient that coats the skin so it doesn't dry out. You have to keep the moisture barrier. It works pretty well. I tried bag balm (worked a little), and other creams and so forth this is the only one that really helps a lot. I haven't tried Goldbond. I also have a prescription for a cortisone ointment for when my hands peel.

Hello, I have had itchy small blisters on my hands for 10 years now. I've seen doctors and they say it's non-treatable. The blisters are starting to spread to the palm of my hand whereas before they only stayed on the front. They occur on both my hands. As soon as they are gone in one spot they start to pop-up on a different area on my hand.
So, I just wanted to know if there is a cure out there for something like this and that it is treatable?
My mother is suffering from the itching of the fingers n the skin peels off and gets swollen at times especially when they are dry doctors here tell that its not eczema. Her finger itches more when she touches some detergent n when finger remain dry she puts coconut oil but doesnt help ...........taking medicene for its not much of helps....so...i am really worried about it . I would really appreciate any of you help n will be haapy to receive the reponse .
