itchy hands after shower

I just got out of a relationship and have not had any activity in my vagina, but I went in with my fingers. Well not long after the shower, the vaginal opening and inner labias are red and itchy. This is now the next morning and it is still that way. Do I need to go get a cream? If so, what kind?

My hands & feet itch horribly after showering, using chemicals to clean house(i use gloves to prevent while cleaning now & have switched to a vinegar based cleaner), bathing our dogs, swimming, cutting fruits & vegitables, & washing my hands more than 2 or 3 times in say a 30min to 1hr time frame (on a scale from one to ten on the intensity of the itching a 10 easily, i've had hives & its way worse than hives).

As you can imagine this can be very unsightly and something i would like to sort out quickly, its been a problem for about 3 years now, and in that time i have tried using different saops and even moisturising my hands after, but it is all to no avail. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Also, a 24 hour antihistamine, Allegra is the best then Zyrtec then Clariton, take any of the 3 that you can tolerate. Also, stay out of the heat, bright light bulbs, cover your self with a light shirt and pants.... a hat but you do not need to get heated like sweating....

I use cocoa butter vaseline with Palmer's shea butter lotion right after getting out the shower because I have really bad dry skin and it also itches and it works for me!

yeah i started taking neurontin and i actually got really itchy after that the first time i took it, but then i fell asleep. this is really annoying. in my karate class last night, i got so red and itchy with little red welts.!! another thing i notice is my sense of smell seems to have gotten extremely sensitive. Not sure if this is an MS symptom or not but i get very itchy hands and feet. So bad i cannot stop scratching, this happens a few times a week and the only way to stop it is to stop scratching and it will eventually go on its own. I am so glad I found this site and know that I am not crazy to be itching with no exterior sign of bumps, a rash, bites, or dry skin. It seems to come and go, but it is the most severe in the evenings and when I try to sleep. It is all I can do to not scratch until I bleed.

I was told that one tree oil was god for itchy skin and I used it in my bath, twice. after the firdt one nothing happened, but when i took the second one that when my skin started to get worst. could this be the problem?????????

As for the rash, I started using 1% hydrocortisone for about 3 days and the rash and itch went away. The doctor also checked my penis out and said it was OK. Just to keep it dry after I shower, and to clean it after I have sex. Thanks a lot for your comment by the way.
