itchy eyes swollen

I have itchy swollen eyes quite often they swell up really sore and watery, I'm not sure what brings it on and it can happen any time of the year and they are really sensitive once I knock they or get anything inside one it flares up.

Hey guys. My allergies get so bad. My eyes get so itchy, they ve stringy white things coming out of them, they get so red and swollen mess up my whole day, i need something that can control the itching.

Red swollen itchy sometimes scaly eyes. I have never had any problems and developed this eye problem a year and a half ago. My doctors have there ideas of what it is but....they don't seem to suffer from my problem and I really don't think putting cortizone cream on my eyelids is a great idea. I was also on a diet of drinking water and not eating any sugar, salt , flour, wheat, soy, tomatoes, potatoes, pork...etc.

I have a recurring condition that affects both of my eyes (more the right than the left). It begins with a burning sensation, then I awake in the morning with swollen, itchy eyes that are red on my eyelids and below my eyes almost to my cheek bones. I am left with scaley, sagging skin above and below my eyes, and bags of fluid that collect under my eyes right above my cheek bones. My skin responds as though it has been burned by crusting over and collecting fluid.

Since I made it to my 2nd trimester my eyes have been sore,itchy,red,swollen! Any advice?? And home remedies?? Has anyone experienced this??

For the past few days both of my eyes have been really itchy and irritated. The irritation has stopped for the most part but last night my left eyelid started to swell. I woke up this morning and it's gotten worse. I've never had any allergies that would cause my eyes to react this way, and it's never happened before.

I used a washcloth compress to get the swelling down and the eyes continued to be red and swollen and itchy and I noticed little blisters kind of like what I get when I wear cheap jewelry and get a chemical reaction from the metal. I have tried some Zatidor eyedrops-antihistime twice daily. It does seem to help a little inside the eye (very little).

I have eczema all over my body and withing the past year i have swollen eyelids, with extra wrinkles. my eyes are also itchy. What can i do so that my eyes aren't disgusting and itchy?

Itchy always and raspy, yes, but don't recall being or feeling swollen. You might want to check with you MD, just to make sure. Congratulations on your quit and keep it up! # weeks is a long time and you should be proud of yourself : ) Keep up the great work!

skin mostly- under my eyes- is swollen, red, & scaley, & seems to absorb lotion very quickly, & gets more scales

It also makes the sides of my face itchy but my eyes never have problems. Sometimes the night before it happens they get real dry and itchy. I figured it was my pillows since I normally use Febreze Allergen Reducer and had changed the brand, so I switched back to Febreze. I also washed my bedding and pillow cases to help.

I have been having severe itchy and swollen eyes, it only seams to appear after having sex; is this a severe problem? I have never experienced anything like it before, I swell up so much that I am almost unrecognizable. The only thing that swells is my eyes even underneath.

Not certain about the white bumps but red itchy eyes maybe allergy or pink eye(conjunctivitis ) He may need a med so it would be best to show the doctor .We also have an eye care forum on Med Help may have other ideas. check it out ..

What do you think i could have if on a weds my face was really itchy and then thursday morn really red around eyes and my whole face was very itchy then friday i wake up with a swollen face and saturday i woke up and my eyes were completly swollen shut the doctor gave me a shot for swelling but it didnt help and now sunday i haave gotton thest red bumps on my neck and now im itchy all over but only swollen in my face. wat do u think it is?

Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced swollen glands and itchy eyes when taking trileptal? I've only been on it now for 3wks and am currently on 75mg along with 375mg of Keppra twice daily. I don't have a rash but am wondering if this is just a cold or side effect from meds. I called the nurse yesterday at docs office they suggested being checked out by PMD, any suggestions? I dont have a fever or any other symptoms? Thanks for the feedback.

My eyes are crazy itchy - they are red in the inside corners and a bit swollen. I have a red itchy rash over various parts of my body and now it's moved onto my face (not pretty). The rash patches are almost always circular and of varying sizes. They never completely disappear but they are not always red and itchy - some are good one day - paler - and the next they are back to red and incredibly itchy. I know for sure that this is not psoriasis or eczema.

Actually i neglected it and like a month ago it went away but now it came back i dont know why it gets really really itchy and its spreading under my eyes and lips very fast. If a doctor has prescribed acyclovir then evidently someone who has actually examined you feels that your episodes of itchy, swollen eye lids and red eyes are due to herpes reactivation. Herpes type II is genital herpes and I would be started to hear that you have ocular involvement. You should clear this up with your eye doctor. Repeated episodes of herpes in and around the eye are often treated with long-term suppression using acyclovir or another anti-viral medication.

Nearly 3 weeks ago I awoke with extremely swollen eyes. (So swollen that even the bridge of my nose was larger than normal) The swelling subsided (did not ever fully go away) but my eyelids remained itchy, red and warm to the touch. A few days later my eyelids seemed to be ok other than extremely dry skin in the corners and upper brow area. My lids have remained slightly itchy since that day with a flare up last night and into today.

At first i just thought it was dust etc but over the last few weeks the condition has got worse. I woke up two days ago with my left upper eye lid swollen, an itchy left ear and some sort of rash below my ear. Two days later, I continue to have the swollen upper eye lid (one side only) and the rash feels like it is spreading to my chin and to my other cheek and under-ear area. Can you suggest anything?
