itchy eyes medicine

almost swollen shut and my eyelids are itchy and scaly. I took allergy medicine but nothing seems to help. What could this be from and how do I remedy it?

I assumed that I got pink eye from her so I started to take her medicine. My eyes are slowly getting better. They are no longer itchy and I do not have anymore discharge. However, they are still red and under my eyes look swollen. I have been on the antibiotic for over 5 days now. Should I expect them to be completely cleared up by now? I called my doctor to be seen and they can't fit me in until Friday.

i have very dry eyes and they hurt a lot .if i set down any time they close and i have to force them to open but theu they do it agan. now if im working they dont do this . what can i do or what meds or drops can i use/?

The last week my eyes have been so itchy and dry.. it wakes me up during the night. Happens inside or outside. My Dr suggested benadryl, but I don't feel like it's doing much. It just hurts again a couple hours later. I have the allergy eye drops too. Just curious if anyone has had this and other suggestions?

I recently raised my armour dose and my eyes are itchy. I do not have allergies and have never had this problem before. Just wondering if its possibly related to thyroid. I hate to blame everything on thyroid, but just thought I'd ask.

Oh, and about the itchy eyes, I used OTC 'Refresh", which the pharma said was better for some reason than the OTC product my mom always used. Also, she recommended sunglasses and although I can't tell you why this would help, I think they did.

Hey guys. My allergies get so bad. My eyes get so itchy, they ve stringy white things coming out of them, they get so red and swollen mess up my whole day, i need something that can control the itching.

Its just the degree of problem goes less.But is not cured.I have itchy nose,throat,watery eyes,cough always,nose blocked at night,etc. Can anyone suggest anything?

Then, after 2-4 days my skin was itchy, but no signs of rash; just itchy. My eyes got very tired so I decided not to use the contact lenses for a while. Then after 4 weeks I decided to give it a shot, put the contact lenses and I got very bad skin rash all over my belly, chest, arms and neck. After two days of developing the rash I decided not to continue using the contact lenses. Two weeks after I put the contacts and got a flare up of skin rash.

I've had allergies for about 6-8 years now. My main problem is my eyes...they get really swollen and the skin above and under them gets really really dry. They also get really itchy, but i use allergy eye drops to help that. However, my eyes still continue to get swollen and dry. I am currently taking Allegra-D and Singulair for my allergies.

Hi I just read your thread about your red swollen eyes after taking a certain medicine. The same thing seems to be happening to me. Can you share with me how you resolved your issue? Nothing is helping. I have tried benadryl, aleggra, cortisone, and prednisone. HELP.

what you do everyday to see for sure what is different on days you are itchy .. that is what a doctor will tell you to do. It sounds like allergies to either food or another thing that was used on that day that you are not using everday.. or maybe a medicine being taken that doesn't mix with something you maybe mixing with not knowing it .. think really hard about these things and I promise you will find your answer ..

Actually i neglected it and like a month ago it went away but now it came back i dont know why it gets really really itchy and its spreading under my eyes and lips very fast. I dont know if its an allergic reaction because i have not changed any of my things cream, toothpaste but yeah i did change my soap so could it be because of that and please tell me certain treatment that i cud apply... please help...

Never had itchy eyes, but I do know that any perceived sensation from the eyeball is actually coming from the surrounding eyelid. I used to have a cold spot in my right eye, at the tear duct.

I'm 24, and have an aspirin allergy. When I take anything with aspirin my lips, chin, and the area around my eyes gets itchy, and swollen so I take Tylenol instead. Lately though I've noticed I'm starting to get the same reaction when I take Tylenol as I do when I take aspirin. Can you suddenly become allergic to something you weren't allergic to before? If I'm allergic to both aspirin, and acetaminophen what else can I take that doesn't have either of those in it?

I have itchy swollen eyes quite often they swell up really sore and watery, I'm not sure what brings it on and it can happen any time of the year and they are really sensitive once I knock they or get anything inside one it flares up.

and worst of all, since about last week, my eyes have become very red (bloodshot). And lately my eyes are becoming more and more itchy everyday.
