It doesnt itch,doesnt hurt or anything.It is just there and are really flaky at times,i started using desonide lotion 0.05% since my dermatoligist told me to but it doesnt seem to wrk.i have been puting this on for 3 to 4 weeks now..i also had dis white ithcy spot on my face and around my lips,and i used desonide lotion 0.05% on that too since my dermotoligst told me too and it wrked,its gone now..my question is,is it normal not to wrk sometimes on the penis?..

I was on Isotretinoin for a while, it seemed to be doing it's job. Then I start noticing white heads on my forehead. I never had many whiteheads before and my forehead has always been clear. Well, I obviously have to get them out or they will drive me absolutely nuts! Some of these things are pretty long, and they just show up on my forehead. I've been breaking out with apparently some sort of folliculitis on my forehead only. I'm not sure if it's bacterial, viral, or fungal so I'm not really sure how to treat it. i want to discuss with you all my problem. As you know i took 20mg isotretinoin for 15 days and pain started in my right hip joint. Went to Arthopedic and he said it is infection. im now on antibiotics (one week on IV augmenten + oxidil and then on ciprofloxacin 500 twice) for last 5 weeks. Today i suddenly feel same kind of pain in my left groin (front of hip joint) . im wondering if there was infection in right hip joint how can that infection travel to my left joint even im on antibiotics.

What can I do to fix it? I have some leftover steroid lotion from my last derm appointment (my next one can't be scheduled for a few weeks and usually this blister stuff goes away by then) and I'm hoping to use it. The desonide lotion was for some arm rash I had. I'd appreciate any input, thanks!

Apply cold compresses(ice cubes wrapped in a towel) on the rash and take some antihistaminic like benadryl or claritin.You can also apply calamine lotion on the rash.It will help in soothing the skin.A mild corticosteroid cream like dermacort will also help.
