isotretinoin initial breakout

I have not been sexually active since July 2007. However, last weekend I had a small blister show up on my buttocks. I had my dermatologist look at it. He said it was Herpes and we've done a culture. (Still waiting on results.) He said the "initial breakout" must come within 2 weeks of exposure. However, I have had not exposure. Is this correct?

Please understand that many people do not have an initial breakout, the information your reading does not apply to all cases, that was the first thing my doctor made clear to me when I was diagnosed with genital herpes II after being married to my husband for 14yrs. Some cases are really mild,such as mine. I believed that he had been faithful and he believed that I had also, we also believed that neither of us had no idea that one of us had carried this disease for so long without knowing.

A couple years ago I contracted HSV-1 genital. I had one breakout and tested positive for only HSV-1. HSV-2 was test but came back Negative. I've not had a breakout since the initial one. I realize that once infected, always infected. My question is, since I'm now monogamous and my partner has not yet contracted HSV-1 (although she know its possible) can I contract the HSV-1 now orally since I've already developed anti-bodies?

m still at a loss for what to do next. I have no symptoms yet (I did read the 2-20 days for initial breakout time), but I am wondering if I should get tested. I know blood tests aren't reliable so close to the exposure, but I'm honestly lost. Do I still get tested in 3-4 months if I don't have symptoms? What are the main symptoms I should look out for?

I am a 25 year old female. I am on isotretinoin for acne. But recently my general physician prescribed vitamin B-complex supplements for other health problems. Is it safe to take vitamin B-Complex capsules with isotretinoin? I am not any other medication.

(ie. instead of Loestrin 1/20.. use 0.5/10 for hormonal imbalance?) Just concerned about initial breakout. Just some background... I have not used OC previously. I have no family history of breast cancer, no hypertension, non-smoker, and had 2 migraines in the past 5 years.

I just have never heard of anyone having a breakout this far out, and it is reported to be within a week or so of contracting. It really kinda bothered me at first, and I felt bad. Although, the more i thought about it, i figured it was kind of an anomaly to happen. Anyways, she has a weird narcissistic personality, and i was a basket case while we were engaged. She likes to control, and I was wondering if this was her last ditch effort. She knew i was pretty happy about everything.

I have been using Isotretinoin since July 2021, and the cumulative dosage is about 100mg/kg. After I stopped using Isotretinoin, I found that my eyes were very dry, and it has been maintained for about a month and a half. I know that Isotretinoin can inhibit the secretion of body oil. I want to know whether the drug's inhibition of sebaceous glands is permanent? Will the secretion of oil recover slowly over time? Permanent dry eye is a disaster for me.

m not aware of this use of isotretinoin. I do know that the manufacturer does not recommend long-term, low-dose isotretinoin, and there is little or no scientific literature bearing on the subject of long-term low-dose use of this drug. i want to discuss with you all my problem. As you know i took 20mg isotretinoin for 15 days and pain started in my right hip joint. Went to Arthopedic and he said it is infection. im now on antibiotics (one week on IV augmenten + oxidil and then on ciprofloxacin 500 twice) for last 5 weeks. Today i suddenly feel same kind of pain in my left groin (front of hip joint) . im wondering if there was infection in right hip joint how can that infection travel to my left joint even im on antibiotics.

Just got over my initial outbreak of herpes 2 a week ago after a whole month of pure hell and two prescriptions of acyclovir. One week later I'm feeling a little bit of tingling and itch. I have an initial herpes outbreak and took a blood test that came back positive. Does this mean I could have contracted HSV-2 a while back and am having my first initial outbreak or must it be my new partner that gave me the disease?
