634590 tn?1293774093 im now on antibiotics (one week on IV augmenten + oxidil and then on ciprofloxacin 500 twice) for last 5 weeks. Today i suddenly feel same kind of pain in my left groin (front of hip joint) . im wondering if there was infection in right hip joint how can that infection travel to my left joint even im on antibiotics. I think this is not infection but it is muscles pain / weakness. When ever i strech my legs and then walk pain starts and after some rest pain goes away.

Avatar m tn 3) Can i use X5 hair laser and Isotretinoin in the same period ??? Cause I read that isotretinoin produces photosensitivity and I would not suffer irritation or problems to the scalp. Avatar m tn He also gave me some antibiotics to clear up sinus. I asked him if he thought this might be lymphoma and he said it is very unlikely since I have an obvious infection on my face (severe acne) plus the fact I have sinus infection. About 2 days later the blood test results came back everything normal. So I made an appointment with my dermatologist to start me of Isotretinoin. I also asked him on his opinion on the lymph node he said same thing that it was caused by acne.
Avatar n tn is it ok to use tetracycline, retin-a, and hydroquinone togther as part of a daily routine, and whats the best sunscreen lotion?
Avatar n tn benzoyl peroxide or topical retinoids, topical antibiotics (such as erythromycin). Moderate inflammatory acne: benzoyl peroxide or topical retinoids combined with oral antibiotics (tetracyclines). Isotretinoin is an option. Severe inflammatory acne, nodular acne, acne resistant to the above treatments: isotretinoin also known as Accutane, can be prescribed by a doctor, or contraceptive pills with cyproterone for females with virilization or drospirenone. http://en.wikipedia.
634590 tn?1293774093 Due to long use of antibiotics and NASAIDs im facing severe constipation and annal fissure. im using ispaghol husk and raw veges for relief in constipation but not helping much. What should i do to get rid of constipation.
309783 tn?1271958229 m not aware of this use of isotretinoin. I do know that the manufacturer does not recommend long-term, low-dose isotretinoin, and there is little or no scientific literature bearing on the subject of long-term low-dose use of this drug. You might consider a short course of isotretinoin, antibiotic treatment, or laser therapy. Best. Dr.
Avatar n tn If still the lumps persist then specific treatment like antibiotics, vit A supplements, corticosteroid injections, isotretinoin, antiandrogens and sometimes excision and drainage ,laser therapy and radiotherapy are found useful.I feel that you should consult a dermatologist and discuss these options with him. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Avatar m tn Thanks for the input, Grace. Epididymitis is often caused by strains of chlamydia and gonorrhea, or by coliform bacteria in homosexual men. I posted here because I was curious if anyone knew about fluoroquinolone resistance in C. Trachomatis (levofloxacin vs. ciprofloxacin, bacteriostatic or bactericidal effects), or anything along those lines.

Avatar f tn This is an excellent question. Vitamins and isotretinoin can be tricky. B12 in general can actually be traced to acne flare ups. Isotretinoin can decrease B12 levels. Low B12 can be problematic. But generally is isn't recommended (B12) to be taken with Isotretinoin very often. I am glad you are followed by a doctor, is he the one who prescribed the isotretinioin? And why are you having the B12 added? I would talk to them about it as well as ask your usual pharmacist.

Avatar f tn Has anyone taking isotretinoin?.i know there is a risk ov depression,I'm on my 6th day today ov taking them and don't feel too great.i feel quite low but really agitated, can't switch off and can't keep still.do u think its because ov these meds or just a coincidence?
4451049 tn?1387153437 I've been breaking out with apparently some sort of folliculitis on my forehead only. I'm not sure if it's bacterial, viral, or fungal so I'm not really sure how to treat it. I'm assuming that it's a fungal infection since I just finished a course of isotretinoin and before that I was reliant on antibiotics, both oral and topical. It flares up when I get hot or sweaty, then it itches. When I proceed to work it out, a fairly long whitehead like thing emerges.
