Avatar f tn If at any time during a pregnancy there is blood or discharge that looks like blood, you should call the doctor. It could also be implantation spotting, which I have read on numerous articles is normal during the 6th week of pregnancy. The pain could be because of your uterus growing or it may be something else. But to just be safe, I would call the doctor and let him or her know.
Avatar f tn My boobs have grown and this morning i had light pink discharge on my toilet paper...... am i pregnant or is it just birth control?!?! Please help im lowkey frraking out! And should i be getting my period at my normal time or when i take the placebo pills??
Avatar f tn Your fine momma, brown blood is old blood and the light bleeding that's pink is nothing to worry about I'm 11 weeks and ocasionally have light pink blood in my stool if I've worked out or over exerted myself.
Avatar n tn There is a possibility. You should take a test. As long as the period you did get wasn't heavy and bright red like a "normal period", your chance are there for pregnancy.
Avatar f tn You could have had some irritation during sex or gotten an abrasion that led to the pink discharge which is a small amount of fresh blood that mixes with discharge so that it is pink. Brown discharge is old blood and also pretty normal to have from time to time. I would not worry about pregnancy or this at all. Discharge can change from time to time. If you begin to itch, then you likely have something fungal like a yeast infection brewing.
Avatar f tn I am spotting a light pink substance and feel a little cramping like if I had my period. Not a big pain. Is this normal. This is my third pregnancy. I have a 15 and a 12 year old but this never happened to me before. I am 36 now so I'm a bit older.
Avatar f tn If she is not uncomfortable and there is no bad odor then it is most likely the normal discharge of pregnancy. If there is an odor or if she starts itching or getting uncomfortable, then it could be a yeast infection, which some antibiotics can cause.
Avatar f tn Otherwise, I had some strange colored and looking discharge during pregnancy! Milky white discharge is very normal, common and is called leukorrhea. It does have a mild odor. So, you seem to be having something very normal and nothing to worry about. https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/vaginal-discharge-during-pregnancy#1 But the rash. Hm. That you need to call your doctor about now. Don't wait. You could have Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy (PUPPP).

Avatar f tn Brown discharge or spotting is normal for the most part. Meaning it's old blood that's now passing. Its probably implantation bleeding which is why most woman do spot brown or light pink. I spotted brown at 5 and 9 weeks in my pregnancy. Now 32 weeks with a healthy little girl. Please do not worry yourself or stress about it much. Just talk to your ob and let him or her know so they can make sure. But you should be fine!
934644 tn?1245336749 6 on this past Tuesday. I am on prometrium to help my progesterone. Is this pink discharge normal? I have never had pink discharge during a pregnancy.
Avatar f tn you can spot alittle during pregnancy but if u see it getting worse or bright red and associated with any pain go to the dr
Avatar f tn My doctor just called apparently it is normal in some pregnancies around this time due to the placenta forming. And it is normal in general in the first trimester. This is my doctors advice to me so don't swear by it.
Avatar f tn So for the month of July my body has had weird duscharge. I was diagnosed with PCOS since 18 and am 26 now..I rarely have my periods of which this year only had it once. But last month I thought I had a period but it was only when I wiped that's when I saw pink/brown discharge with tiny blood clots for a week then was normal then after 2weeks I had red discharge only when I wipe with blood clots again. Is it normal for PCOS.
Avatar f tn But, when I went to the bathroom afterwards, I had some watery pinkish discharge. Is this normal? I have not had anything other than normal clear discharge at all during this pregnancy. for the past couple of days, I have also been experiencing some round ligament pain. But, I would not say it is cramping by any means. Any thoughts on the pinkish discharge?
1055604 tn?1254239738 I have had no discernible discharge during pregnancy but did before during ovulation and such. Some women will have spotting during pregnancy, pink, brown (old blood), ect...but just because they do have it, doesn't mean that they are pregnant. You need to take a HPT or talk to your obgyn.
Avatar f tn I'm 10 weeks as well and I notice I have a thicker type of discharge as well.
Avatar f tn Lots of people have spotting during pregnancy. Sometimes it is problematic sometimes not. Only your doc can tell you what is going on with you. Definitely call them.
893889 tn?1294276977 I went in yesterday for my ultrasound. The nurse told me she had the brownish discharge during each of her three (full term) pregnancies and that it is "old blood" and that is ok. They also gave me a shot of progesterone (my rear end still hurts! lol) to be safe and I go back for a repeat scan in two weeks (mostly bc they found a possible cystic area, the baby and hb were seen on this US and were fine).
Avatar f tn re due for a pap then as scary as it is you should get it done. Cells are changing and need to confirm everything is healthy inside. You may not even spot or bleed. And if you did it should be very little. Pap exams dont cause miscarriage or hurt baby. But it's your choice. Call your advising nurse/obgyn and let them know how you feel bc they are the only ones that can reassure you if this pap exam is truly necessary and put you at ease. If May is an option than go with that.
