Avatar f tn I had to keep getting my blood treated every week after because to see if my pregnancy hormones went away. Every since then i have been having irregular cycles. Now in 2013, it has been 3 or 4 months since I had my period. When I went to my doctors appointment last week they ran a pregnancy test and it came out to be negative. But this past week I have been spotting and when I take a shower small little blood clots come out. So I'm wondering what is wrong with me?????

Avatar n tn My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old. After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem. She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days. She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots. I am worried and seek advise. Thanks & Regards.
Avatar f tn Hello, Femitrone and morning after pill when taken together can cause withdrawal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle and it should not interfere with the working of the emergency contraceptive pill. However keep a check on your periods. If you miss them then do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your menstrual cycle. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar f tn I have a question about my menstrual cycle...I had my last period April 25th and now i haven"t had my period and its May 29th so im 4 days late...so if my period is late can there be a chance that my period comes in the beginning of June so i would have skipped period for May? Really confused???
Avatar n tn Hello, Menstrual cycles are considered normal from 21 to 35 days. However stress can also make periods irregular. Other causes of irregular periods could be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, chronic illness, polycystic ovarian disease, thyroid gland disorders or diseases, pituitary gland tumors or cyst, galactorrhea, prolactinomas etc. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Avatar f tn your menstrual cycle just changed and thats not normal. i have a friend who havent had her period 6months straight. and she is healthy. so no worries for you. your are IRREGULAR when it comes to your period. unlike me, im regular, never skipped a month. regardless of giving birth. the cramps thing, just excercise or do sit ups 2weeks or a week before tour period. if you dont know when your period will arrive, just do brisk walking or cardio excercises. :D hope this helps.
Avatar f tn It is not uncommon at your age for menstrual periods to be irregular, so I would wait up to about 6 weeks before being too concerned. If you continue to have irregular periods, you may need to consult with your doctor--it is possible that you could have polycystic ovary syndrome which is a catch-all term for a hormonal imbalance that causes irregular periods. Often irregular periods are treated with contraceptive pills to regulate the cycles. Hope this helps!

The past 3 months I have started 5 days early. Heavy bleeding for atleast 4 days. This past month my husband went inside me and I thought I may be pregnant due to bad cramping and not feeling right in my stomach after eating, etc. I took a HPT and it was negative.
