3215744 tn?1346814318 there are a lot of workout dvds for pregnancy, you should be able to find some at the store or online. just be sure to run the workout routine by your doc and get their aproval before you start it.
483733 tn?1326798446 I also have all but the 1st of the Biggest Loser DVDs. They take advanatge of the DVD format and let you pick which workout you want to do at a given session so that you can customize the length and difficulty. I think that is neat. They do lots of squats, and the music is lame, but they are also good options considering my limitations. I have a small trampoline, and sometimes I just put that in the living room and sort of jog in place on it (I think I'd break it if I actually jumped!
Avatar f tn I am looking into different home workout programs that I can do on my own time. I work as an EMT and my schedules are not flexible to fit in any gym programs. My question is have any of you tried the Les Mills Pump! program either at home or in the gym? What did you think of it? Did it work like they say? Do you have any other suggestions for me?
Avatar f tn I'm 36 weeks, 2-3 days (my doctor's office says I'm a day ahead of what my app says) and every so often, I get this feeling in my abdomen as if I have just completed in "Insanity" style ab workout. I've got that burning, tense abdominal muscle sensation. It's hard to describe it's not exactly like contractions, it's more like a constant tense feeling. Has anyone else felt this being in their 3rd trimester?
Avatar f tn I have continued my normal workout routine so far at 28 weeks. I had no nausea or fatigue, so have been able to continue as normal. My doc told me exercise as tolerated, modify T make things more comfortable as required. I usually workout 5 days/week. Something different everyday. Typical week is one day of each of the following: yoga, running, T 25 or easier insanity video, hike, elliptical/weights/gym workout.
Avatar f tn I am 17 weeks and pretty in shape prior to being pregnant. Any advice or know of any good excercise links ? Or books/dvds ?
Avatar n tn I'm currently doing the insanity workout video, so how do I track that? Should I have my phone on me or just add it as an video workout on the exercise section??
Avatar f tn They have Zumba DVDs you can buy and it's VERY fun! I love it. I can do it in the comfort of my own home, so I don't looks weird in from of people, and I have a great time doing it. Plus, it teaches you to dance and shake it!! lol Plus, I'm sure there's always some fun exercise tutorial on youtube.com. Plus, youtube is free.
Avatar f tn Um not sure
Avatar m tn i had a single graft heart bypass ten years ago can i take up the insanity workout i am 49 yrs old
Avatar f tn As you start getting more fit, consider stepping it up to add yoga, jumping rope (most slimming exercise on the planet because it slims without bulking up muscles), or the Insanity workout. When exercising, think about posture. Shoulders back, head up, abs in.
Avatar f tn DVDs are available in stores and online with a few targeting parent and child. They are generally categorized by age, with only a few available for Moms with toddlers. http://www.***********.com/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=483 http://www.babycenter.com/0_eight-ways-to-find-time-to-exercise_626.
Avatar f tn I just started the INSANITY 60 day challange......and if you want to sweat..... this is the workout for you! I am on my first week and already noticed changes to my body and I feel great.... a little sore but great!
Avatar f tn So I've been doing the INSANITY workout. But stopped last week when I felt that I might be pregnant. Took a test yesterday & surprise!! I am. Ik that^^^ specific workout is TOO INTENSE to be considered "safe" durring a pregnancy, and in no way would I want to harm the baby or put it at risk. However I would like to stay as healthy as I can. & I know exercising can help make the birthing process go easier. So my question(s) to you is/are: How much is safe?
Avatar f tn ) I got the what toexpect when expecting workout dvd and its amazing. It has yoga, cardio, and workouts to do when you aren't pregnant.
