i never did get tested for the hiv infection but now i had a child a month after and he has really bad yeast infection covering his whole face and neck i an freaking out is that a sign

ve been managing it (still rash every week or 2) using ketacoazale once i see a rash coming and washing my face lightly with both salicylic acid and head and shoulders when i take a shower. Usually the reason has been stress, but i've recently noticed it coming up when having absolutely no stress. I suspect it has to do with my new job location (3 miles from beach) where the humidity it higher than where i live. Anyway how can i protect myself from these disgusting looking rashes on my face.

The ones that are on her belly and back are raised, but the ones on her face are flat. Wierd rash. Going to take her to ER. this is worrying me.

My wife developed this red rash on her on her face mostly on her cheeks and nose about six to eight months ago. At first we thought it was acne but no acne treatment helped. Our dermatologist doesn't know what it is. It happened about the same time she had her ears pierced. The backs of her ears have been swollen and red and she has a rash down the side of her neck starting from the base of her ears. She also says that her neck is itchy.

I'm an 18 year old male and I have had a reoccurring face rash for 6 years. Is there any sort of preventative treatment for children to make sure they do not suffer from a painful and horrible breakout? According to an article I read the intial breakout is much more severe.Is there a test that can be done to see if my child did infact contract the virus?

Back when I was Txing everyone keep talking about goldbond medicated. They all seemed to think it helped. If I am not mistaken we all called it riba rash and alot of people get it. I would call my Dr tomorrow. But maybe also try goldbond. Just a thought I am sure someone else will chime in soon with more info than me. At least it is not on your face because that would mean roceasa, which I got from treatment and it never went away. I'm sure you will be fine!!

I was treated for graves disease several years ago and have since been taking synthroid. the problem is in the last month or two, i have been suffering from an unsightly rash on my face which won't go away. I cannot figure out what is causing it and i suspect it may be related to my thyroid condition. i do not think it has to do with any other conditions other than my thyroid problem. has anyone experienced the same type of problem with rashes?? what can i do to get rid of it??

I found out from the MS nurse that the rash I have all over my face, neck, and back is a side effect of my IV Solu-Medrol treatment and the taper dose of prednisone and is not a rash at all, but is acne. I thought the rash was from my sun exposure while in Mexico earlier this week and that the steroids were probably the culprit. So that was half right. But the nurse said it was acne yet it feels more like a rash to me.

Bring enough then some extra to cover the time baby will be away fr home), baby wipes, diaper rash cream, infant Tylenol, thermometer, travel size lotion, travel tissue, changing pad (plus I pack puppy pee pads-to cover what ever-go over whatever, if a mess is made no big deal throw it away), nail clippers, nose sucker syringe, small saline drops, a extra shirt for U, U never know if you'll get spit up all over U & whatever else u use daily when at home with the baby.

I had allergic reaction to Atarax that resulted in chicken pox rash from the neck down. I also had something else that affected my entire face, though it was not itchy, but extremely noticeable. I took a med years ago and had a major reaction to it. Chicken pox like rash all over, including my face. I agree with can-do, check with your doc and dermatologist asap. It may be one of the treatment drugs, but it may not be. Best to you. Please post on the outcome.

hi, i have a rash that i noticed 2 days ago, it started on my face i htink, but now its on my chest and arms aswel. on my face and neck the bumps are fairly small and a pale. most of the ones on my body are more red. ive notices a bit of dry skin on my hairline on my forehead aswel. its itches a little. any ideas as this is v. embarassing and worrying.
