1530342 tn?1405020090 Okay, how many tried to sneeze with eyes open, just to see if you could do it? Gotta admit, I did it...... I can/do, sometimes, sneeze with my eyes open; it all depends on what's causing my sneeze and how violent it is.
Avatar n tn But I too used to have the energy of a toddler when I was preg with DD up until my 9th month. Now I can barely keep my eyes open! Shari-Good for you for getting aundry done at all! 1084115 tn?1385232189 It took me a while to absorb all the information I could and I only dealt with at my own pace. Finally I came to the conclusion to do whatever is necessary to change the one thing I could control- Diet. I could at least make my best attempt to prevent any further hardening of the arteries. This will also better prepare me for transplant surgery if it becomes necessary and available.
Avatar m tn Oh wow I am happy to meet all of you, and yes i have this problem too, i remember this since i was like 7 years old i am 36 now and pointy shiny things makes it worse i also feel pain in the back of the eye and my immediate reaction to a sharp or pointy thing is to close my eyes like if i was poked with that object, sometimes my eyes still hurt even while going to sleep. Avatar n tn i started to react to mint a few years ago(i had chewed mint gum for years). my first reaction was to a tooth pick from a chinese restaurant my lips swelled like a balloon where the toothpick was. you would not believe how many spices are related to mint, which i have not reacted to yet, such things like oregano go figure. i was using toothpaste with no mint,or so i thought, until my lips puffed up a bit.
Avatar m tn I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out. The last one about 2 years ago stopped me breathing in and out completely for 10 to 15 seconds and I thought I had bought it.
393685 tn?1425816122 I have also decided that I have been very passive in my own handling of this situation - I read other post and you are all so aware and knowledgeable regarding your bloods - I am ashamed to admit that I have never even questioned my results and could not tell you what they were! - I need to open my eyes and take more control.) Then in October 08 I found a lump on my thyroid.......
Avatar n tn He said that he would start mentioning normal stitches as an option to his patients. I would say, if you've ever had a problem with them, talk to your doctor before any future elective surgery. You may not have to go through it again.
Avatar n tn I get a very sour stomach and diarreah (immodium/maalox help) bad body aches, very flu like (I take anaprox which is a non addictive anti inflamitory and flexaril which is a muscle relaxer, also non addictive but with the added bonus of making you drowsy which helps with the following) inability to sleep (over the counter sleeping pills can help, so does the flexaril) on occaision I've used valium to sleep, but only one at bedtime, and only for the first few nights of WD, no need to add ano

I started drinking Bud chin was back, the more i drink the night before the worse my chin is. So im completely confused about why this is happening. I wish someone would do a comparison study to different beers ingredients and how much so i'd know what to drink now. Anyone else have this problem??
Avatar n tn it got to a point where i could take it no more and keeping to myself, so I had to check with someone, and family and doctors confirmed to me that i was nuts. well, now I know I'm not nuts and i have to laugh cause it sounds crazy but its real. Avatar m tn That weird problem drag me down so much that I don't even want to deal with it more. It a heavy burden that I just want to avoid. When I don't have the symptoms, I just try to enjoy the little moments of happiness I can get. I don't want to think about it. I just want it to disappear. So yeah. I guess it's difficult for us to want to do a proactive serious scientific experiment ourselves to prove or refute the existence of the condition informally called "PATM".
Avatar m tn I've overcome my denial now, and I think I'm entering a stage of anger/frustration in which I can't believe a problem like this could go undiscovered for so long - and whenever I try to bring attention to it or talk about it with a doctor, I'm simply dismissed (or referred to a psychiatrist). I like to think that doctors are compassionate people whose business is to alleviate suffering, and if they see someone suffering (e.g.
1099361 tn?1258665857 NA/AA, you keep hearing it but trying to go at this solo is damn near impossible to do. The more help in your corner the better your chances of quitting. A lot of people here have been through it and are offering good advice. The only thing I would add is short walks or bits of exercise. While the thought of it *****, the reality is it will make you feel better. THe craving for pills is a strong force but it can be over come.
Avatar n tn It's frustrating and my experience is that you almost have to force doctors to deal with you, because many just want to dismiss the problems as not being serious.
Avatar dr m tn Have you tried various home remedies, over-the-counter medications or even prescription medications with no help? If you answered yes to any of the above, what you will read below will show you how critical it is to breathe well through your nose. Chronic mouth breathing can not only affect your quality of life, but your life, period.
Avatar f tn I still plan to file reports with Pfizer and with the FDA as well as warn everyone I can not to use Convenia. I will never use this drug again- I had already refused it once in July when Angie developed a cold after receiving two vaccinations. I had stopped vaccinating my cats due to health issues and I decided to do a rabies which I was still doing as well as a distemper.
Avatar m tn I did this probably 5 more times through the night since I couldn’t sleep. This whole time I had to be “escorted” I was so weak and I couldn’t open my eyes. The pain now for me was like, smashing ur face off a steering wheel, having all your wisdom teeth pulled, having the **** kicked out of you and having a sinus headache from hell. . And all of this in one night.
Avatar f tn sleep is one of the last things to seem to come back...try wrapping your legs with some ace bandages and use heating pads..I know you don't feel like it but walking a little bit will helps get things going in your body..try not to go to the er..your better off talking to your dr..keep posting..

Avatar n tn I've tried breathing exercises, yoga but it doesn't seem to help. I was very surprised to see so many people with the same problem. This seems to be a symptom seems to be connected to a lot of problems right from acid reflux or GERD to anemia, hypothyroidism, sleep apnea and heart problem. But I don't have the other symptoms related to any of the above diseases. I feel weird, coz some days it's worse than others and people around me have started noticing.
Avatar dr m tn Any time I see patients in the office that come in with any of these classic symptoms or one of the more severe complications such as sinusitis, I always ask about the few days or weeks prior to the onset of the throat symptoms. With few exceptions, most of you will have either increased stress (out of the ordinary), a history of eating later than normal, or drinking alcohol later in the evening. Sudden weather fluctuations such as pressure or humidity changes is another common trigger.
233488 tn?1310696703 It is important for him to follow up regularly with his ophthalmologist for a dilated retina and peripheral retina exam. He should see the Eye MD immediately with sudden increase of floaters, flashes or loss of peripheral vision. You need to ask he surgeon specifically about activity. As a generalization return to golf and tennis would be allowed by most surgeons after 7-10 days.
675347 tn?1365464245 For most of us "CHEMTRAILS" sounds like a wacky thing. Like maybe some new-age weird idea, or conspiracy theory, or paranoia..... Oh no it isn't! Increasingly, blue skies, throughout the world are being criss-crossed with wide vaporous lines which are obviously not aircraft (contrail) trails. Quite often a huge area is covered with a nework of these "trails". Aluminium has been found -to highly toxic levels -in "pure" mountain melt-water....
Avatar m tn THIS CAN CAUSE THE INFECTION TO GET IN YOUR EYE. Use the top of your wrist to wipe the water out of your eyes. You are also going to be bending over forward in the shower. The shower is not a good place to find out that bending over makes you dizzy. Practice it first before you get in a shower, no matter how young and fit and healthy you assume that you are. Stand in front of a bed or couch or a carpeted floor.
