This is where I think the info came from regarding my original decision to go with the pegintron.... less relapse rate, less sides, stays in system shorter amt. of time when you come off , etc. My new nurse, said that study had a lot of flaws and she did not put a lot of faith in it and talked me into pegysus... any comments would be appreciated.

I have always been overweight, and now have a lot of excess skin, which is to be expected. My question is about my ideal weight. My goal started at 150 pounds, then 140, then 130, now I'm thinking my ideal would be 120.

The best thing to do is type into your internet, "Ideal weight, or what is my ideal weight"? The internet will help you figure it out. I am 5'11" tall and my ideal weight would be 105 lbs. (if I were younger) to 112 lbs. I have a small frame.
Avatar f tn Lizzy, how tall are you? Your height along with your age will help determine your ideal body weight. Don't over do it! Remember you're still young. Your body is still growing and changing. Cut out sodas. Drink lots and lots of water. Try to drink at least 8 oz every hour. That's normally about 1/2 of a bottled water. Stay active!! If you like watching tv try doing sit ups or jumping jacks or even just running in place every time a commercial comes on. Cut back on sugary foods.

Avatar f tn I used to think running meant running forever and at a fast rate like a speed racer. But as long as your heart is pumping, and you don't over-exert your limits, running slower at a longer distance is always your best bet! It burns more calories!

Avatar n tn 59 kg is 130 lb. There are many factors, but one chart suggests if you are 5'4" or 5'5", that could be an ideal weight. The charts don't mention that some people have bigger, denser bones, longer or shorter legs by proportion, and more or less muscle. Looking good and being healthy is more about having muscle and having a strong heart and effective lungs. To feel good and turn heads, WORK OUT.

Avatar f tn Your midwife or doctor will let you know how much weight is ideal for you to put on during your pregnancy. If you have a normal BMI they say between 11 - 16kg weight gain is fine.. I at 29w and I think I have gained around 10kg so far, but in the beginning weight gain was very slow! At this stage I think your fine :) But remember weight gain is not all you putting on weight.. bub, fluid, placenta all add to it.

Although, according to charts I've seen, I am at my "ideal body weight" I don't look lean, and so I would like to lose some more weight. Avatar n tn m not a marathon runner but I do enjoy running n ran on a daily bases b4 the pregnancy. I also kept on running after pregnancy I ran 3 miles 4 times a week till 25 weeks with this pregnancy. . I went to bike riding because my husband kept insisting that he felt more comfortable that I use a bike instead of running. He thought something might happen. So I did for him but my last pregnancy I ran til eight months. I'm still weight training.. N I feel awesome.
