weight

Avatar f tn Your midwife or doctor will let you know how much weight is ideal for you to put on during your pregnancy. If you have a normal BMI they say between 11 - 16kg weight gain is fine.. I at 29w and I think I have gained around 10kg so far, but in the beginning weight gain was very slow! At this stage I think your fine :) But remember weight gain is not all you putting on weight.. bub, fluid, placenta all add to it.
Avatar f tn ve only gained 13 pounds thus far. My doctor always said for me 20-30 pounds was ideal during pregnancy. Anything after can cause complications and/or be tougher to loose after baby. Also a lot of my mommy friends said they gained most of their weight their last month of pregnancy when baby goes faster.
Avatar f tn s a lot to gain at what you are. Ideal weight is 25 to 30 pounds. But you were very thin to begin with so I think you are just fine! Your body needs fat for energy for your growing baby with my last son I started at 118 and when I finally had him I was 142.
Avatar n tn Ideal pregnancy weight gain is all based off your starting weight/height ratio. If you feel you are gaining to fast maybe try healthier smaller meals and adding some excessive (light eversizs) you can't do a whole lot about weight gain during pregnancy besides earrings right and trying to avoid binging on cravings and instead eat just enough to knock the craving out. Unless your dr is concerened (and they will tell you) just enjoy the pregnancy!
7058746 tn?1393435420 With my first I gained most of my weight in the first few months. I just looked fat for awhile till my bump started showing. Lol. For the last few months I barely gained anything. Overall I gained a total of 30 pounds. This time around I've been much more sick so I haven't gained as much right of the bat. Guess every pregnancy is different.

Avatar n tn s based off of your stating weight/height. For my first pregnancy I was told to aim for 30/35lb and this time around having leftover baby weight my dr lowered my goal to 25/30lb. My sister is a taller than me and her aim was 45/50lb because. Basically eat healthy and try and keeping you and baby healthy.
4963258 tn?1395602072 How much weight did everyone gain in their first trimester? I'm a FTM and I've already gained 8lbs, just entered my second trimester (14wks) today. It's hard to go for walks as well, whenever I walk just up the road and back at least one side of my hip will start hurting and then I have to lay with my feet up. Any one else have that problem?
Avatar f tn The ideal amount is 25-35. By the last 2 months or so you'll be gaining a pound per week. Just be careful I don't think its too much personally. If your pre pregnancy weight is normal you'll gain more weight than an over weight person who will gain very little to nothing.
Avatar f tn I think 30 pounds is probably the ideal weight gain for most pregnant women.I lost ten pounds, then gained 20 back with my daughter. With my son I gained ten pounds total. Overall, my daughter was my healthier newborn. My son was a month early and was in the NICU. Don't get discouraged or upset over your weight.

Avatar f tn When i got pregnant, i had just lost 90 lbs and was still 30 short of my goal(ideal weight for my height), and now gaining it back feels awful. Everything hurts again, and I'm so ready to be able to work out again and get this extra weight off for good.

Avatar f tn tennesseegirl you are like me....ha, finally someone little who puts on some pounds. I gained 60lbs w/ my daughter almost 18yrs ago. I of course was under 100lbs to start. I started out w/ my son at 115lbs and gained 45lbs. This pregnancy I started out at 120lbs and am up to 130 at 10wks already. This is just how I do it?? 25lbs sounds like nothing to me, I would be starving.
