Avatar m tn I have been taking maximum daily dosage of generic ibuprofen (3200 mg a day, usually 1600mg at a time). I also take 600mg etodolac, 400 in the am and 200 in the pm. I have been having kidney pain on both sides, and excessive sweating. Could this be from taking too much NSAID medication?
Avatar n tn Can I take etodolac after taking tramdoul an ibuprofen
904511 tn?1251219733 I was on Tramadol for my chronic pain, now he put me on Etodolac 500MG with Amitraptyline HCL 10 MG to help enhance the effect of the Etodalac. He said together they would work stronger than Tramadol. My pharacist sucked and didnt really tell me much about them. I read on the print out that the Amitraptyline was a antidepressent. Is it both or did I get the wrong thing?

Avatar f tn I have read that ibuprofen and similar drugs can have a side of effect of causing blood pressure to be elevated, so perhaps that did play into it. I don't know if etodolac is as bad about it as ibuprofen. I'm guessing you probably don't want to go without anything for pain, so it will be hard to evaluate whether the NSAIDS are causing a problem.

Avatar n tn Not really any difference. Vicoprofen has Ibuprofen with the Hydrocodone. Vicodin has Tylenol. Strength would be the same if they both were the same dose.
Avatar n tn i am to take 2 tramadol twice daily or as needed along with 800 mg ibuprofen twice daily. i have not found any resolve with this medication (i have been on it 2 weeks). i also have not had any typical withdrawl symptoms from stopping the vicodin. i have degeneration of my t3 and t4 vertebre and spinal rotation and of course subluxation. i have had 2 diagnosises and both times the prognosis was long term chronic pain. i have blood work done every 3 mths and it has always been normal.
Avatar f tn m not sure what it could be from in between me stressing out major since Sunday morning, me taking Etodolac (Lodine) medicine for the past week (for an issue with one of my joints), drugs I've been taking, or just one thing triggering the next. Since the morning of the 24th I've had a sore throat and then later a loss of appetite. I'm hungry less than usual, and when I do feel hungry and try to eat, I feel full and can't eat a lot.
Avatar f tn Hi all, About 2 months ago I started having shoulder and arm pain. Hurt from shoulder down to wrist. Now it's extending into neck. I don't have insurance till Sept. when Medicare kicks in. I did pay to go to doc's and he said bursitis and gave me etodolac (an NSAID). Well, have taken for a few days and it's doing nothing. My Advil PM works better. I think it might be an impingement problem. does any 1 have any suggestions until my insurance kicks in.
689265 tn?1251130087 just had my 2 year old at the drs for a check following a fever and told him I'd used calprofen ( children's ibuprofen ) initially when trying to bring his temperature down. He hit the roof!!! He said ibuprofen is proven to cause kidney damage and should NOT be made for children at all, he's on quite a mission to ban it. Just thought i'd let you guys know. fortunately, i'd only given my lad 2.

Avatar f tn Has anyone heard of any reactions to ibuprofen while pregnant?
7758733 tn?1402589420 Killer headaches, and never any Tylenol around. Ibuprofen can't be that bad huh? Got to go to work and this headache must go.
Avatar f tn Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.
Avatar f tn I had a really bad headache yesterday and took 6 200mg ibuprofen tablets ( 2 every 4 hours 3 times) and then I found out today your not suppose to take ibuprofen. I'm really worried, will everything be okay?
