I have tried changing food, clean with dawn soap only and have given my cats one one of the guest rooms as their own lot's of litter boxes, toys and beds. All 4 kittens and my 3 yr old cat have diareha. My one Elvis is 7 months and has is so bad it's leaking out of him. He is in my guest bathroom and huddles over the heat vent. The vet has run every test and is stumped. Does anyone know what this is? I have tried pumpkin and it helps but the sickest will not eat it.

I had knee surgery a year ago and have been taking approximately 400 mg of ibuprohen daily for pain. Can this be a temporary toxicity to the pain med with a return to higher level of my GFR upon cessation?

I have had really bad issues with walking, now requiring a can, for about a year. Diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis. It's gotten so bad that I started doing research. I have been doing 5-day energy shots daily for 6 months now - about 40mg of B6 per day (was doing emergen-c's before that). I'm thinking my walking, tingling may indeed be B6 toxicity and am going for a blood test this afternoon. I've gotten a lot of good information from this group - thank you.

I want to treat my kittens for fleas so I got Revolution for kittens. It says I should use one tube ( 15 mg) for each kitten less than or equal to 5 pounds of weight. The thing is, one of the kittens is rather tiny, like her mother used to be.She is almost 3 months old and weighs less than 2 pounds. Other than that she is very active and healthy and eats both dry and soft food. Should I still use the whole tube of Revolution on her or should I use only half of it?
I just got a kitten, 6 weeks old and I've had her 3 days. Until last night she was playful and started eating kitten food and she is using the littler box. Her pop was fine this morning. Last night she disappeared, just poof, all night I looked everywhere and didn't sleep. This morning she finally came out of hiding after 8 hours. She doesn't want to eat so I gave her glucose and baby formula..(for kittens) by mouth. she has no energy and is crying when she's not sleeping.

Ibuprofen is TOXIC to dogs.....Even a small dose (For a Human headache) can build up and be too much for a dog.....Causes Bleeding Ulcers, Liver Damage, and can be fatal...
It is too late to induce vomiting....Your best bet is to get the dog to your Vet! They can try to flush his system with IV's.....Hopefully, to move the chemicals out quicker....They can also give Charcoal to bind the toxins in the stomach....It probably has been too long for this, though.....
It sounds as if the mother of the kittens may have weaned her kittens a bit early. Mothers don't always wean them at the correct time. Queens can get fed up with breast feeding, or they may simply feel too drained if there a lot of kitten mouths to feed. Queens tend to nurse their kittens longer if there are only 3 or less kittens. Or, if you started the kittens on kitten food before weaning, the Queen may discontinue nursing.
m not sure what to suggest (one of the reasons we ended up sticking with older cats, stray kittens have a very high expiration rate and frankly, working with the kittens started to be depressing. Plus, the healthy ones didn't need us, they adopted out quickly).
Any one else got any other ideas on what may help out there?
It causes liver toxicity, and serious liver damage. Tylenol is one of the leading causes of liver failure in the United States, accounting for an estimated 450 deaths per year. I quit taking Tylenol years ago, I recommend you do the same. I found that Naproxen or "Aleve" is about the safest. Ibuprofen and asprin are hard on the kidneys.

Please get a complete hormone panel ESH, LH, estrogen, progesterone and see if there is an imbalance. Hormone replacement therapy will help. With metal toxicity, certain chelating agents are given which bind with the metal and remove them from the body. Normal detox diet will not take care of that. It basically increases the antioxidants in the body.

We have some kittens about 6 weeks old and they have been acting lethargic and having green ***** eyes and diarrhea. One of our adult cats (not their mother) has symptoms of Feline Leukemia? and I am concerned about these kittens. Is there anything we can do for this? Is there any treatments available that is not real expensive that can be administered to them?

2 days ago I found 2 kittens about 2 or 3 months old and they have something wrong with their eyes. They're constantly draining a yellowish sticky gooey fluid. The one is worse than the other. For the past 2 days I have been wiping them with a warm cloth and using a eye cleanser I got from fleet farm but they don't seem to be getting any better. Being a single mother I don't have a lot of money for a very.
My cat was spade a week ago, in the last couple of days she's been showing some strange behaviour. her kittens are now 4.5 months old (she stopped nursing them 4 weeks ago) and now she's calling them and letting them nurse?
Also she goes into the bed where she kept kittens (when they were born) and keeps scratching at it?
Is this just a hormone inbalance where she's been spade?
Hi I have a friend who has a cat and her cat had kittens that were born on the 19th and she has noticed that her teats are shrinking is this bad or is it normal because the day she had the kittens I took her to the vet and they said she had loads of rich milk so if the teats are getting smaller (2 of them are normal size) so is she running out of milk plz can I have answers please thanks ( just to say she has got 5 kittens )
