Two months ago I got constant buzzing in ears (regular tinnitus). On audiology test I was told that my left eustachian tubes is closed and they gave me some spray and instuctions for valsava exercise + bubblegum chewing. I was very happy because eustachian tubes is problem and not other things like circulation or spine.
Using this therapy for a 5 weeks now, situation is a little better, I was told that this might take a while while tube is completely clean. Any advice how to make it faster?
I woke at 3:30 this morning with tinnitus that suddenly developed. It was 'loud' enough to snap me out of deep sleep, and has persisted at a relatively constant volume and has not changed at all. I perceive it less when there are other noises around, like talking or conversation. I've checked several possible environmental causes (t.v., router, etc.) but it's obviously not external as my wife can not hear it and my two dogs are also unperturbed.

In the days before the surgery I had some eruption pain, and the teeth were fully impacted, and I had some mild tinnitus. However, after I got them out, the tinnitus has gotten much worse. Its been a couple of weeks...I haven't been on here for a while bit hanks for your replys back...my ear is still ringing a little bit it's been a month I saw the ENT specialists and he prescribed me anti-inflammatory steroid...the ringing def. Went down a little bit. Then we waited a week and then he told to take ibuprofen. Which at first I didn't think was a bad idea.
In the outer ears cerumen impaction or external otitis, in the middle ear fluid collection or disease of the tympanic membrane and in the inner ear damage to the nerve endings can cause tinnitus. It may not be related to the neck problem. You may need to consult your primary care physician who will examine you and initiate appropriate therapy. I took pain killers for a few years. I'm not bragging but I never snorted it or exceeded the recommended dose. I took about half of what I was prescribed.
I stopped the ibuprofen/with codeine. Within a few weeks I developed loud ringing/tinnitus. I've been prescibed anti anxiety medicine for the tinnitus. It helps very little except for I sleep great. I've researched extensively and tried different supplements but without improvement.
s been a year ago, and even now, I cannot smoke 3 cigarettes anymore without having literally days of headache and a tinnitus. The high-pitched tinnitus started appearing a few months after this event. It becomes worse when I drink alcohol (a bit), smoke cigarettes (very much) or drink coffee (very much). I have to stress out that before this event I could smoke as many cigarettes as I wanted or drink as much coffee as I wanted without ever getting any tinnitus.

Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.
I had a really bad headache yesterday and took 6 200mg ibuprofen tablets ( 2 every 4 hours 3 times) and then I found out today your not suppose to take ibuprofen. I'm really worried, will everything be okay?

Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped.
The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.
I took tylenol this morning. I took Ibuprofen an hour ago . I coudnnt take it anymore. It was a one time thing and i feel so much better. Will my baby be okay?
