ibuprofen quality assurance

Ok I'm a regular anxiety sufferer and take meds, yesterday I woke up with a really sore left breast bone, right on top of my heart!!!! I began panicking and had a mild heart attack! I rushed to the ER, the doctor examined me, BP fine, pulse fine, listened to my heart, fine!! He said I had a case of inflammation in my rib cage due to my asthma & sent me home with ibuprofen .... I can't shake the feeling of impending doom, as if the doctor didn't catch something!!!!

I do not believe it is possible or legal to buy T3 medication without a prescription! Any Over the Counter (OTC) drug by FDA law/rule states that there can virtually be no measurable hormone in the product. At least that is what I've read and been told. Outside the USA I'm not sure if that is the case. However if you buy on the "black market" you have no assurance of the quality and dosage consistency of the medication. As Barb stated, self medicating is NOT the way to go.

Is it safe to take ibuprofen in the same day as Meloxicam? I take 15 mg of the Meloxicam in the morning for pain but need additional pain relief later in the day and I know that both drugs are NSAID so I don't want to accidentally overdose.

it works well but I have found lately, just this past summer til now, it does not seem to have the quality assurance that it used to . you know like anything else Manufacturers can make bad batches of medication. We hope it isnt true but it can be. Also those symptoms you describe are NOT side effects of this drug. Perhaps you should get a physical first to rule out other illness issues, and then after getting a bill of health..

Has anyone heard of any reactions to ibuprofen while pregnant?

Killer headaches, and never any Tylenol around. Ibuprofen can't be that bad huh? Got to go to work and this headache must go.

Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.

I had a really bad headache yesterday and took 6 200mg ibuprofen tablets ( 2 every 4 hours 3 times) and then I found out today your not suppose to take ibuprofen. I'm really worried, will everything be okay?

Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped. The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.

I took tylenol this morning. I took Ibuprofen an hour ago . I coudnnt take it anymore. It was a one time thing and i feel so much better. Will my baby be okay?

ok I just read online that you are not suppose to take ibuprofen while you are pregnant again im 5 weeks i took total of seven not all together of course over say a period of maybe two days due to a severe toothache did i do something stupid is my baby going to be ok.
