I over dosed on 300 200 mg Ibuprofen and was taken to the ER last week where i was given charcoal. Nobody knows. I had an ibuprofen overdose, but it was over a long period of time, and it affected my intestines, mostly my colon, causing colitis. I had frank blood suddenly one day, without any stool at all, and the abdomonal pain was horrible. I had a colonostopy, and was on medication for 2 months to try to heal my colon, it affected 3 ft, and it was almost gangrene. By the time I went to the emergency room, I hadn't eaten in 2 days, and yet the stupid, and I mean STUPID emergency Dr.
I was on Wellbutrin for about 2 years, 150mg and went off about a month ago. The doc said that it was an easy drug to stop.....somewhat, so I guess it's the first time he's been right. I was going back and forth between 75 and 150, and like you, even at that low dose I couldn't tell much appreciable difference. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.
This past 2 weeks I was ill with the h1n1 virus. During the 2 weeks, I consumed over 50 200mg pills of ibuprofen. I have had blood work done twice (5 days ago and 2 days ago). Both resulted in increased liver enzymes. I haven't had any ibuprofen in 4 days. Is it possible that my liver enzyme increase is a result of the "overdose" with the ibuprofen. The Advil had 200 mg of ibuprofen. Later on I got cramps so at around four I took two midol extra strength. Each pill had 500 mg of acetominophen. Then I began getting a massive headache so at 6:45 I took one Tylenol extra strength tablet which also had 500 mg of acetominophen. Now I am worried because I took a little bit too much acetominophen

If you were my patient, I would advise you that there shouldn't be any contraindication to taking Ibuprofen, Acetominophen or Aleve with those two medications.

Well, an overdose of ibuprofen is usually marked by drowsiness, stomache pains, and trouble breathing. I have never heard of hallucination being a side effect.
That being said, when giving our little one's any medication including over the counter, it is extremely important to stick strictly to dosing instructions. I know the bottle I buy of infant tylenol or ibuprofen show recommended doses based on age and weight and of course frequency. Do not ever give more then she should get.

My experience was that Ultram gave a slight mood lift if taken daily. It had an antidepressant effect on me if anything. It acted both as a pain reliever and caused me to worry less and feel less down. This however only happened after taking it for some time. The problem is that if you stop taking it once your body is used to it you can feel low. In your case you are taking other drugs that are quite strong and it would be hard to determine which drug is having what effect.
Nurofen contains ibuprofen, and the 'plus' is codeine. Codeine is converted to morphine in the liver (to varying degrees in different cultural populations), so from a practical standpoint there is no difference between an addiction to nurophen vs any other opiate, such as oxycodone or heroin.
