I suppose it could BUT it could also be due to several other things. As you well know, once diagnosed with BC there is always a chance that it may return in one or more organs. You must also remember that there are other ailments that affect the liver function tests; even some medications so I wouldn't be jumping to conclusions just yet. Kindest regards ....

When i went in to see her she avised me that my liver function test results were high (166), she also said that my white blood cell count was high! Do you have copies of your blood tests? If not get copies of you most recent blood tests and any other tests you have had. Have you had a liver biopsy or fibro scan for example? The blood test you especially want to see are your Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP), Hepatic function Panel, and Protime. With those tests you will know your Bilirubin, Creatinine and INR results which are used to determine your MELD score that is how you place on the liver transplant list is determined.

ALT or SGPT is a liver function test, Hepatitis C will cause it to rise. Sense you are treating that is the only medicine you need... Just so you know yours is not that much out of range......... Best to you.
