It sounds like you could have atrophic rhinitis (spelling might not be right) I think I read somewhere that you should irrigate nasal passages, use a humidifer when you sleep to keep the nasal membranes moist, also there is a gel that you can buy at walgreens drug store (I don't know where you live or if they have walgreens drug store where you live) anyway it is called "AYR nasal gel" and this is to help keep nasal membranes moist as well.

Me too!! It started with my first baby. He's 11 now. Still my baby!! It never went all the way away. It came back full force with my second baby, he's 6 now and still my baby!! This pregnancy at about 9 weeks it came back. :( I'm 24 weeks now and its awful. I use arnica gel. It's homeopathic which means its all natural derived from a plant Dr sd when I hit my second trimester I can use it again. Now 24 weeks and I use it every night before I put my brace on. I took generic mylanta--walgreens comfort gel. Shake well--tastes awful but it works. OB said it's ok. I'm also 19 wks this week. I had to lay off the pasta with red sauce & pizza. I also get everything mild now but I like spice when I'm not pregnant. Good luck.

Ive taken walgreens comfort gel. Tastes horrible but helps. Also carry alkaselter heartburn chews which help.

The top of my left shoulder is quite painful to the touch. I've tried ibuprofen tablets and gel, also paracetamol and codeine tablets. I've previously had some worries about chest pain being angina although all tests for this are negative. The pain goes into my neck a bit when I press my shoulder, I'm fairly happy this pain is not heart related. But wonder what I can do to treat it.

This is more a tip than question. My neck and incision were swollen in the hospital. They offered to get me ice...usually I hate ice on anything but it really helped! The only problem was the lumpy ice hurt so i had to empty some out. When I was released I asked my Mom to get me ice packs from walgreens like we had as kids at school. They don't freeze...stay squishy like a gel. They have been perfect! I have posted daily pics so I can see how my head is healing...

And I use evening primrose oil gel pills. U can take them orally and vaginally... I do both every day.

You can try a pain relieving gel and heat regularly. Ibuprofen gel and a hot water bottle are my friends! Also try not to chew too much, have a mainly soft diet for a few days.

Sorry about your injury. Using ibuprofen gel or topical NSaids does not necessarily have to be covered. You can ask your doctor about that or the pharmacist where you frequent. A few points, remember to not mix with other nsaids, avoid touching your eyes, mouth or open wound, WASH YOUR HANDS after application, use only the amount the doctor has prescribed for you, don't shower or swim or wash the area for at least an hour after putting it on, and try to keep the area cool.

I am not sure if you can take this but a pharmacist at any place (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aid...whatever you have near you) would be able to tell you...Ask if you can take/use Anbesol....it is an oral gel that you put in your mouth for toothaches and it has a novacaine like numbing...Like I said, I don't know if you can take it, but you can call and ask, they'll know. Ibuprofen and such tends to give me stomach pain and I've been On ibuprofen for years. Heat helps but just for the 30 sex or so the heat is applied. Other than that nothing.

Look for an acne medicine with benzoyl peroxide. I use one by clean and clear called persa gel 10. I got it at walgreens. You only need a little and over night helps reduce size and reddness. Since your wedding is only in 3 days, your skin won't be completely clear but will help fight breakouts.
